Guest access You are welcome to walk the grounds including the forest trail on our property. We ask that you respect our privacy by not going in the barn, the main house, the pond ( no guest use is permitted), and the direct area around the perimeter of the house (patio) including the hot tub. Other things to note Please READ the listing CAREFULLY and do some of your own research about the area BEFORE booking. We are NOT in Pemberton, but 15-20 minutes north. So take our location and how it may relate to the reason you are booking . The roads to our home are paved and regularly cleared in the winter. Our driveway is gravel and maintained as well. Note that there are provincial laws for the highway to Pemberton which require winter tires ( M and S or snowflake icon) from October 1-March 31. If you have an electric car, you will need to make sure you charge it at the charging station in Pemberton as we do not provide charging of vehicles on our property. The suite is ideal for a couple or single person as there is only a queen bed and a small sofa which is not meant for sleeping on. If you are 2 friends, you may want to consider this info carefully. We do not have our own animals/pets; however, there are a number of very friendly neighbourhood dogs who visit us regularly. There are other animals around us of the wild variety, which rarely are seen but this is a rural mountain area so it is to be expected that there are other animals around. If you are bringing one dog ( as our listing states) you must indicate this when booking and please ensure you pick up their poop and that are with your dog if it goes outside on our property. For people with scent sensitivity, we use lightly scented eco laundry detergent and there is a small reed diffuser and a few sachets of dried lavender in the suite. There is a down duvet in the suite. If you are allergic, it can be changed to a non-feather one if you let us know ahead of time. The barbeque is only available for use March 1-November 1 ( unless a special request). It becomes a nasty mouse nest if left outside in the winter. The wood stove inside the suite is only available for use from October - May due to the yearly wood burning ban in our area. Registration Details Provincial registration number: H466000232
