Cottage under the walnut

Sleeping under a clear starry sky and waking up to the chirping of the birds. In the northeast of the Achterhoek, as part of our farmhouse, we have converted an old barn into a comfortable guesthouse. The cottage is in a large garden surrounded by fruit trees, free to pick. Hiking trails start directly from your accommodation, and various cycling junctions can be found a stone's throw away. Welcome and enjoy everything the beautiful Achterhoek has to offer! The space Cottage under the Walnut (about 40 m2) is on a 2-hectare plot. The guest house is separated from our house by a large garden and beech hedge. The entrance is at the back of the barn on the garden side. In addition to your private terrace, you have a large part of the garden, 300 m2, for yourself and you can relax in the hanging chair under the walnut tree or in the hammock in the orchard. Guest access The cottage consists of one large room with a sleeping area and living area with kitchenette. The bathroom with washbasin, rain shower and toilet is located behind the wooden sliding door. Upon arrival, a 2-person king-size bed with generous pocket spring mattresses and adjustable Auping bases (2×90cm) will be ready for you. After an active day, it is wonderful to plop down on the comfortable sofa and watch your 32-inch TV with NETFLIX and more than 200 Dutch and foreign channels, including a large number of German, English and French channels. It is possible to prepare your own meals, everything is available for this. The kitchenette has a microwave oven, 2 pans induction cooktop, cooking utensils, refrigerator, kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. Coffee, tea, oil, pepper and salt are in stock. There is a basket with information and hiking maps of the area. Also some books, magazines and games. The stay includes towels and bed linens.
