Escape to the woods and enjoy spectacular views of South Puget Sound - a true Pacific Northwest getaway. The Fishtrap Cottage is nestled on a quiet street at the tip of the Boston Harbor peninsula. Harstine Island is directly across the way and a fantastic spot to watch boat traffic. Keep your eyes pealed for orcas, porpoises, and seals. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy bald eagles and sea foul. Mother deer and fawns frequent the area. This property is high bank with no access to the beach. The space This is a one bedroom, one bathroom cottage with high ceilings and lot of space for two. While not toddler friendly, we can make special exceptions and accommodations for infants and older children (couch turns into a full size mattress but this does impact the family room space when set up. Hence, why this listing is for two). The cottage is fully furnished with access to high speed internet, please note there is no television - washer and dryer is available. The kitchen and dining areas can comfortable serve up to four guests. There is an outdoor grill for use, along with a fire pit, corn hole toss, and picnic table for sunset dining. Minutes away from Burfoot Park, and a 15 minuet drive to downtown Olympia, and 3 miles from the ever popular Boston Harbor Marina where kayaks and paddle boards can be rented, and live music, food, and drinks every summer Friday night. Guest access Guest access is the entire cottage and backyard including fire pit. There is no access down to the beach, this is a high bank property with spectacular views only. Enjoy the sunsets and quiet setting in the woods. You’ll be sharing space with the deer and their fawns in the backyard. Other things to note Parking: park right beside the cottage.
