Walkerville - Prom’s Edge

This stylish place to stay is perfect for group or family trips and those wanting to escape a busy lifestyle and experience the peaceful beauty of Walkerville's white sandy beaches and cool waters along Cape Liptrap Coastal Park or use as a base to visit beautiful Wilsons Promontory. Check out @promsedge on Insta Our place is located in Prom Views estate and a 3-4 minute drive to Walkerville beaches and 30 minute drive to Wilsons Promontory National Park. The space Within the home is a mid-century styled lounge, with an indoor fireplace and tv. The open plan space boasts a 90's kitchen with a retro electric St George oven and cooktop. The dining space has a beautiful large hardwood table, comfortably seating all 8 guests and perfect for long breakfasts, lunches and dinners! This space opens out to a generous north-facing verandah and outdoor breakfast table. All four bedrooms are light, bright and generous in size with fresh linen provided (no towels). The bathroom/laundry is spacious, but basic, with a laundry trough, shower, toilet and washing machine. Outside there is the option to use either the rear verandah, front porch or the fire pit. The outdoor shower with hot water connected is wonderful after a salty swim! Prom's Edge is suitable for families or groups and provides a cot, highchair, toys and books should you have little ones joining you! Guest access Guests can access the entire home. We encourage guests to experience the outside, searching for koalas in our tree out the front, star gazing and sitting by the open fire or on the deck chairs with a wine. The interior of our home is beautifully calm and spacious with ample books to read, wifi and plenty of spaces to rest should you wish to stay indoors. Other things to note The sleepy suburb of Walkerville is a hidden gem of South Gippsland, boasting local wildlife and the magical Walkerville beaches; Walkerville North Beach is a short 3-4 minute drive from the house - if you arrive when the tide is low, you can walk around the point and access the spectacular Walkerville South Beach and marvel at the old Lime Kiln relics. Prom's Edge provides linen, including pillowcases, sheets and doona covers, however we do not provide bath or beach towels so please byo.
