This well presented, spacious coastal ground floor property with kingsize Hypnos bed is a perfect base for exploring and discovering East Devon, West Dorset, the Jurassic Coast and beyond. Harepath End is adjoined to our home yet is self contained with a separate entrance, private en-suite bathroom with full size bath and separate shower. Located midway between Lyme Regis and Sidmouth and just a mile from the sea at Seaton, it’s an ideal base for exploring and discovering this beautiful area. The space Access to your accommodation is up a spacious driveway (30 metres) with private off road vehicular parking for guests and within 20 metres from your door entrance. Guests enter the property by the double glass patio doors. The very large guest room is 36 square metres and larger than a standard double hotel room. It suits couples or single guests and those with less mobility - it's all on ground level with just the door threshold to negotiate. The room includes a comfortable Kingsize Hypnos bed with a set of drawers either side, high quality British made Baavet wool duvet (alternative can be arranged - please just ask) and 100% cotton linen. There's an area for food/drink preparation which includes a kettle, small fridge, and microwave. Two armchairs are provided, a desk with office chair and light. There's a modern large TV provided with remote control. The bathroom is spacious and includes a full size bath, and a shower enclosure. The toilet is slightly higher than standard. There's also a bathroom mirror which can connect to Bluetooth and your favourite tunes. Sustainability Our property uses solar energy to generate electricity. This works effectively on bright days throughout the year. A separate solar system also heats the water on warm sunny days but it's backed up with a conventional system to ensure there’s plenty of hot water. Couples or single guests visiting friends or relatives in the area can benefit from their own secure and separate accommodation. Guest access A small private East facing patio area immediately outside the entrance is available for guests exclusive use, and is furnished with a small table and two chairs with padded seats - it's a perfect spot for your morning coffee. It overlooks the driveway and privately owned orchard. If you like watching birds, it's the ideal place to observe their behaviour. The garden at the rear of the property is also available for the exclusive use of our guests. This is another private area, overlooking fields. Please note, access is up several steps.
