The Mizen - Rye Harbour

The perfect break for groups, families, walkers, cyclists, kite surfers, bird watchers, nature lovers and beach dwellers! Discover the rustic charm and tranquility of Rye Harbour village. A stones throw from the Nature Reserve and Frenchman’s beach, The Mizen is a peaceful haven just a 5 minute drive from historic Rye. Surrounded by fabulous eateries, cultural landmarks and stunning wildlife, what better place to unwind with family or friends. The space Spread over 3 floors, The Mizen comfortably sleeps 6-8 people. The house has 4 bedrooms (2 double, 2 twin), 3 bathrooms (1 family bathroom and 2 en suite), 1 downstairs WC, lounge, dining room, kitchen and utility room. Outside there is a large decked area with outdoor dining. For the early birds…enjoy your morning coffee at the breakfast bar as you watch the sun rise and listen to the wildlife wake up alongside you. Or for those night owls…a decked footpath leads down the garden to a spot where you can start up the BBQ, then huddle around the fire pit and listen to the birds and the waves as the sun goes down. (Whatever the time of day, please always be mindful of noise for our lovely neighbours) Please note while we welcome families and children, the house has not been ‘baby proofed’. Babies are very welcome but they will need supervision (inside and outside) as we don’t have baby gates/safe plugs etc and there isn’t a designated safe baby space.
