The Coach House is a unique stay. A detached building with its own courtyard garden, less than 5 minutes walk from Didsbury high street. It offers an open plan lounge kitchen with bi folding doors to the garden. The bedroom is fresh, light and spacious. The Coach House is in a quiet residential area with plenty of on street parking and great transport links into the city. A perfect location both to explore the area and relax in your own private home from home. The space Downstairs: The wooden cottage door opens onto a small entrance hallway with tilled floor, mirror, shoe rack and coat hooks. Through the reclaimed wooden panelled door ahead is the open plan living, kitchen dinning space. There is a comfy three seater sofa facing a multi fuel stove and vintage wall unit. There are solid wood bi-fold doors with easy access to the courtyard garden to the front of the house. Beyond the living space there is a large wooden topped kitchen island with breakfast bar, with three vintage stools with backs. The kitchen has built in units with fully integrated appliances including washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven and induction hob. The kitchen is well equipped to cook and I provide some basics including teas, coffees, milk, olive oil, slat & pepper. Behind two doors at the back of the downstairs area are a sperate toilet and shower. The toilet and hand basin are newly installed in vintage style. The shower room is a large wetroom with white metro tiles and overhead electric shower. Upstairs: As you walk up the stairs the space opens onto a large and bright bedroom in the Apex of the house. There is a full width dormer window to the front of the property adding plenty of head height in the bedroom and flooding it with light. On the opposite side there are Velux windows with integrated black out blinds. The brand new laminate floor with underfloor heating makes for a cozy yet fresh feel. The king sized bed, with brand new Emma mattress and DUSK bedding takes centre stage, with an occasional chair and open hanging rail to the sides. There is a generous sized chest of drawers for you to make use of and large wall mounted mirror in the dressing area. The bedroom also features a dedicated workspace with pull out desk top, chair and ample power sockets - perfect for home working. There is a tower fan with remote control available for your use on warmer nights. Please note there is no bathroom upstairs- the only facilities are on the ground floor. Outside: The coach house sits in it own little patch so is fully detached. There is a courtyard garden to the front with string festoon lighting, an outdoor dinning table with 4 chairs and a garden bench for relaxing. Guest access Guests have full access to the property. Other things to note Summer/ Winter Duvets- During the warmer months the bed will be made up with the ‘summer’ 4.5 tog duvet. During the cooler months the bed will be made up with the ‘winter’ 13.5 tog duvet. If you have a specific preference please let me know prior to arrival. Stove- The multifuel stove downstairs is an additional heating source (there is underfloor heating as the primary source) and I will provide an instant light fire log to use if you are staying during winter. Further fuels (wood and smokeless coal) can be purchased from the local garage if desired.
