This little townhouse was recently remodeled with all new appliances, air conditioning in the downstairs area, upscale furnishings, and art. On a quiet, secure hilltop cul-de-sac, just by the estate of the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates. There are national police and our neighborhood guards with cameras covering the entire hilltop. The house is small, about 100 square meters, though the light throughout is delightful and includes a second-story, bedroom balcony with city views. The living room has a new 55" TV with brand-new, electric recliners for viewing. These amazing chairs even have adjustable lumbar and cervical support. There's a recently installed 24,000 BTU split air conditioner downstairs, though it's rarely needed in Escazu. Throughout all the rooms, the natural light is enchanting and everywhere there are dimmable LED ceiling lights. The kitchen has an island with two chairs, next to the small dining room with a table for four. The windows are onto a plant-filled, interior garden with table and chairs as well as an electric (George Foreman) grill/barbecue. Halfway up the narrow staircase is a desk and chair workspace just a meter from the fiberoptic wi-fi signal and internet telephone. The upstairs hosts an ample, bright bedroom with charming Indonesian furniture, a new 55" flatscreen TV, a new bed and mattress, remodeled bathroom, and a wonderful balcony with city and forest views. The entire townhouse is very private and completely accessible to the guests. There's also a small carport/garage with utility storage to hide a suitcase if your stay is extended. The street in front is totally safe with limitless parking, 24 hour guards and camera surveillance. So feel free to park anywhere in front. I am your service, right next door, with a ring of the phone or a knock at my gate. Anything you might need from more ice to printing a document to directions for local attractions or advice about Costa Rica; I am here to make your stay more comfortable. This is simply the quietest, safest street in Escazu, and quite possibly all of Costa Rica. It is conveniently located with two main access directions making a trip to San Jose or the beaches exceptionally easy. Uber is what my guests generally use if they do not rent a car. The service is very economical in Costa Rica. There is a bus stop just at the bottom of the hill about 150 meters from your door if you are adventurous. Calle Chuponsillo is hands down the quietest, most secure street in Escazu. What's especially unique is that you have no guarded gate to pass through. It's Uber convenient and close to everything.
