Welcome to our newly updated and French-country-style Glenwood House for your next stay in New York! Whether your stay is a long weekend for some R&R, couples retreat, a bridal suite for getting-ready photos, photoshoots, or a family vacation, The Glenwood House is the perfect stay for you! The space The Glenwood House shows off its beautiful newly renovated, open-concept kitchen with all new kitchen appliances, white cabinets, wooden countertops, a plush sectional couch, a large dining space, and a quiet and relaxing outdoor patio and porch, and scenic views and local attractions. We strive to meet your every need and desire from high-speed WiFi, smart tv, new comfortable mattresses, complimentary coffee and breakfast items, toaster, tea kettle, coffee maker, a variety of cookware, board games, table/desk workspace, outdoor patio, and grill. The grill and patio are seasonal. This bright and cozy space truly feels like a home away from home. It can accommodate up to 6 people and has three bedrooms with 4 beds: 2 Queens, 2 Twins. This space is equipped with Central Heating/Air, but we also have extra linens, pillows, and blankets for your comfort. The bathroom has a tub/shower with strong water pressure and a washer/dryer with detergent, ironing board, and extra towels. We also have extra amenities, such as a heating pad, porta-crib, vaporizer, hair dryer, straightener, and curling iron, etc. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the Airbnb and shared use of the outdoor patio and grill with the Airbnb owners. At this Airbnb location, there is only free street parking. The host is not liable for any guests' vehicles or for making sure parking is available. Outside quiet hours are from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. ONLY guests on the reservation are allowed on the property without express permission before arrival from the host. Guests who are not listed on the reservations will be asked to leave. Loud groups or large groups (over 6 people) are NOT allowed. We have a strict no-smoking, vaping, and drug policy, which will be strictly enforced. NO PARTIES ARE ALLOWED! Other things to note Settle in for a relaxing getaway in this cozy yet, roomy escape. Conveniently located less than 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Race Track, a short drive to Albany International Airport, Mohawk River, Adirondacks, Lake George Region, The Great Escape Amusement Park, wineries, and vineyards, casino, and minutes from highway access. Enjoy a beautiful afternoon walking or biking through the Schenectady Stockade or the historic GE Plot. Spend the afternoon on bikes and go for nature walks on the Mohawk bike trails or stroll within minutes to the historic downtown of local shops, spring and summer farmers markets, and fun restaurants. Cleaning Protocols We use enhanced cleaning and sanitation practices to ensure cleanliness and comfort for our Guests, including disinfecting measures and ozone treatment after each guest's stay. Additionally, this building is located on the same property as the owners. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or concerns before or after your stay.
