The Nest - Retreat in Nature

Welcome to our timber cottage home - The Nest. A peaceful, quiet place surrounded by nature - of all kinds. Forests, lakes, sea, beaches and hills. Located in Ugglehult, a quiet neighbourhood on the south-facing side of Bjärehalvön, one of Sweden's most beautiful peninsulas. Västersjön Lake, where you can swim, fish, or go stand-up paddle-boarding, is only a 10-minute walk away. A huge garden surrounds the house and it's the perfect place if you come with a dog. The space The house is spacious and cosy with a living room area connected to the open kitchen with a high ceiling. There's one huge bedroom with a king size bed, a small bedroom with a 1,20m small double bed one bathroom and an office/creative space room. Connected to the living room is an outdoor room. In the garden there's a small cabin (with a sofa-bed where 2 people can sleep comfortably), a bbq area, lots of trees, a veggie patch and flowers. Connected to the garden is a private parking area. The house is located on a dead-end street making it a super quiet area with hardly any traffic. Guest access You'll have access to the whole property of 1000sqm garden and 90sqm house and it will be yours only. By staying at our house you have access to the communal area 5 min walk away. There you have access to sauna, swimming pool, mini-golf and tennis court. Other things to note The main bedroom doesn't have a door to close and the house in general is not very sound proof inside. We have a fireplace that warms the house up really well too in case you want to use it. Fire starters, a brush to clean and cardboard can be found in a wooden box which is either in the outdoor room or next to the fireplace (depending on when you rent the house). You're welcome to take one load of our fire wood behind the shed to get started, then you must buy your own wood. This is our beloved house and we ask you take good care of everything during your stay.
