Want riverfront? Enjoy your personal access to the Deschutes River. Never leave home because the best river access is out the backdoor! The spacious backyard has private river access to launch your paddle board or kayak. Explore this mellow section of the Deschutes River, around the bend from First Street Rapids. This home has beautiful views of the river & lots of space to spread out. Master bedroom is on ground floor. Fun game room upstairs. The space The master bedroom has a king bed and is located on the main floor with river views. It has in-suite bathroom with heated floors. There is a view of the river from the family room with comfortable L shaped modern couch and flatscreen TV. This room flows with an open floor plan next to the kitchen. Enjoy cooking meals with the sliding glass door open so you can hear the sounds of river wildlife. The dining room has a big table with 6 chairs. We do have a table extension and extra folding chairs if needed. There is a 2nd bedroom with queen bed also on the main floor. As well as a main floor central bathroom. The most dramatic room in the house is the formal living room. With old wood floors, a hand carved fireplace mantle from the 1800’s and a beautiful antique mirror that sets the tone for the room. There is a piano and comfortable leather furniture arranged for easy conversation and big views of the backyard’s main attraction…the Deschutes River! Upstairs is mostly kid territory. There are two separate spaces, one with a queen bed and the other with a twin bed and beautiful view of river. There is also bathroom and a game room with pool/ping pong combo table as well as foosball. Little guests will love all the books, blocks, cars and a variety of other toys sure to entertain! Warning: we don’t have cable tv channels, only Netflix, Amazon Prime and a DVD player. The last Blockbuster on earth is located 3 min drive from the house, so renting DVD's could be a fun and nostalgic way to experience a movie night! Polite dogs are ok to stay but must be approved when booking. Please tell us about your pet and agree to our pet rules in a message. $75 pet fee and our maximum is 2 dogs. Please clean up excessive hair and clean up poop in the yard prior to departure. There is a poop scooper available located in side yard. Please do not leave pets unattended in the home or barking in the yard. Damage caused by your pet is your responsibility. Guest access You will have use of the whole house, except for several locked closets and the garage. Other things to note Location, location, location! We might be biased, but if you are spending time in Bend during the summer. Don't miss the chance to stay in a house on the river! This is a decision you won’t regret! We do provide two paddleboards, but please bring your own life jacket to ensure a proper fit.
