Back to nature? Away from work and the crowd? When you arrive at our home you will enjoy the enormous space and tranquility. At night you will be visited by deer, foxes and moose (if you don't make too much noise) and you will completely relax in the sauna (overlooking the forest) or the jacuzzi. Read a good book? You can do this in front of the fireplace in the easy chair or on the couch watching Netflix. You start an endless walk in the forest behind the house. The space Escape to this cozy home with modern furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen. The cozy bedroom behind the living room is perfect for children, but also offers sleeping accommodations for up to three people. Upstairs, you'll find a spacious double bed for extra comfort. In summer, enjoy the outdoor living area, complete with a pull-out bed that sleeps two. The outdoor living area is also available in winter, but it can be quite cold, so be sure to bring extra sleeping gear. This is especially suitable for outdoor enthusiasts and sports enthusiasts. We provide a standard amount of firewood for the fireplace in the house. Additional wood can be purchased for 50 SEK per wooden basket. A full stack of wood costs 150 SEK. Smoking is not permitted in the house. You can bring a maximum of two dogs, and a spacious kennel of approximately 30m² is provided for them on the property. If you would like to bring your dogs into the house, this is permitted as long as dogs or other animals do not stay on the couches or beds. We ask tenants to leave the house clean, especially if they bring animals. A mosquito magnet is in place throughout the summer to minimize mosquito nuisance. Wi-Fi (250Mbps) is available in the house. You must notify us in advance about the use of the jacuzzi (in summer) and sauna. The jacuzzi is pre-filled by the owner, and depending on the season, it must be started by the tenant three hours in advance. The sauna can be heated within an hour. The jacuzzi is not available in winter. If you would like to use the jacuzzi in the summer, please let us know at least 7 days before your arrival. This way, we can fill the jacuzzi before your arrival. Due to well water, no outdoor water is used. Therefore, tenants are not permitted to use the outdoor tap. Tenants are requested to use only biodegradable soap due to the septic tank. Cleaning products and shower gel are provided in the house. Additional electricity consumption, such as charging an electric car at the house (there is no charging station), will be charged at 18 SEK per kWh by the owner. Tenants are not permitted to use the sheds on the property. Charging is only possible at the house's outdoor socket, which has both a 230-volt and a 380-volt socket. Guest access When you make a booking you will receive the address - location of the keys and WIFI code. You will also be given a manual for using the wood stove and a list of businesses - supermarkets etc. nearby. Other things to note The house is centrally located between the ski resorts and several larger towns. Mattmar is also easily accessible by car in winter, but you can also fly to Östersund and Trondheim (Norway). From Östersund, it's only a 45-minute drive by car, while it's 180 km by car or train from Trondheim. Åre is just a half-hour drive away, which is Sweden's premier winter sports area in winter. In summer, it's an ideal area for outdoor activities, with beautiful hikes, mountain biking trails, and downhill BMX routes. Snowmobiles can be rented at various locations; download a map and you can enjoy nature for days. Prefer to go out with sled dogs? That's possible too.
