Yallambee Tiny Home is a peaceful off grid accommodation for two people set alongside the Bolong River amongst the rolling hills of Golspie - 20 minutes from Crookwell & Taralga and 10 minutes from Laggan on 15 acres of sheep grazing country in the Southern Tablelands. It is the perfect place to stay put and switch off from the hustle of everyday life or your base to explore the Upper Lachlans Shire of historic villages. The space * * Please take into consideration before booking ** We are completely off grid and rely on the sun for power, meaning this is not the place for heavy use appliances and the heating and cooling cannot be run continuously. The nature of Yallambee is to disconnect and get back to nature and mobile reception can be limited. We are located on a farm in the country and you are likely to encounter sheep & wildlife. The space is light & airy with large windows showcasing 180 degree views of the beautiful Golspie Valley and Bolong River and also meaning you can stargaze from the comfort of your bed or rise with the colours of the sun. Inside, a solar powered heating/cooling system (set on timers for power preservation) provides comfort throughout the seasons or enjoy the use of the firepit (*subject to fire restrictions) under the beautiful country sky with a glass of wine and a cheese platter. In the bathroom you will find a walk in shower, vanity and a sanitary & odorless, self composting loo. In the kitchen you will find quality Dog & Gun Coffee, The Tea Collective loose leaf black tea, hot chocolate, sugar and milk and a small fridge/freezer. For simple cooking you will find a kettle, toaster and portable induction cooktop. Or cook on the BBQ outside under the night sky. Guest access Yallambee Tiny Home is located on 15 acres of working sheep grazing country, the entry gate will need to be closed at all times, along with the small gate surrounding the tiny house in the paddock. Guests have access to the Bolong River and are free to roam at their leisure. Other things to note Being completely off grid and reliant on the sun for power, the Tiny Home does not have the capacity to recharge electric vehicles or heavy use appliances.
