License # 00110957 The space The large one bedroom unit has been completely remodeled, with brand new kitchen, bath, flooring, paint, furniture and décor and is offered for the first time as a vacation rental. There are several stairs up to the apartment, which may not be suitable for everyone, but offers complete privacy, with lovely views of the private yard and the neighbourhood. There is no cable TV, but there is a smart TV with Netflix. The bedroom offers a dreamy queen size bed with luxury pillow top mattress and lots of fluffy pillows. The bedroom is very quiet and tucked away from the street. The landing at the top of the stairs offers a perfect place for two, to sit and sip some fabulous BC wine and grill your favourite meal. Or, you can dine in the cozy dormer, which looks out through beautiful heritage windows, to two silver birch trees and the other lovely heritage homes in the neighbourhood. As an introductory offer, we will provide a complimentary chilled bottle of BC wine and cheese platter for two (minimum 3 night stay). Guest access Included are towels, sheets, dishes, glassware, cookware, basic spices and starter coffee & tea. The unit includes heat, air conditioning, 32" LG Smart HD TV with Netflix and free Wi-Fi but no cable TV. We also have books and games for those evenings that you want to stay in and relax. Your space includes a small shaded private deck, immediately outside the suite, with bistro set for two. There is a Guest BBQ and Guest Seating Area available on the West side of the house, so you can grill your favourite meal and sip some fabulous BC wine. (available May - October) *** weather permitting. Other things to note Chef Nene is perfectly bilingual in English and Spanish, with a working knowledge of French and a good understanding of Italian. We can also provide (at no additional charge) beach chairs, beach towels, picnic basket, cooler, and channel floating rafts should you want to spend some time at the beach. Why don’t you send us your grocery, beer and wine list? We’ll do the shopping and have everything ready and waiting (and chilled) for you. We’ll provide you with all receipts and will add only a charge for our time to pick up the items you require ($25 per hour).
