Juliabuda rorbuer - Large apartment

Juliabuda rorbuer is located in Haugsbygda on Gurskøya. Juliabuda was built in the 1860s and we can offer an evocative stay in this authentic sea scene where there has been both herring salting, post office and shop. The waterfront cottage has a quay facility with the possibility of swimming, enjoying views of the fjord and the islands in the ocean gap or a glass of good wine with the food. The area has many beautiful excursion areas both by the fjord and mountain heights towards 6-700 masl. Easy and more difficult terrain. Swimming opportunities. The space Juliabuda has two apartments that you can rent (Large: 9 beds + Small: 5 beds). Both apartments have their own kitchen/living room and bathroom with shower. You probably can't expect hotel standards. But we can promise charm, slanted floors and authentic sea air. This ad is for the large apartment that has 3 bedrooms. If you rent both you can open the door between the apartments and move freely between them. If you only rent one, you will not see other guests other than outside the building or on the quay. Other things to note There is pillows and dunes available. Take your own linen, sheets, towel/cloth. In the boathouse on the 1st floor it is possible to eat at the long table or take it out on the jetty in the fine weather. Pillows, chairs and sunbeds are for free use. Remember to bring the pillows in at night. The children can cuddle in a hammock, swing in the swing rings, these/swing or play with buckets and a net for catching sea animals. If you get fish, you can own crab pots and cast out for the jetty for the next day's catch. Remember to attach the buoys to the jetty. Attention, attention!!
