We may need to pop in for occasional viewings as flat is on the market. Ask us about long term lets The space PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BOOKING: 1. As we do currently live in the property, there is NO WIFI! There is also no TV! Time to unplug?! OUR CHECK IN TIME IS FROM 4PM. This is to ensure we can fully clean and sanitise the room. Please do confirm we can check you in at a different time should you require before making your booking to avoid any unwanted frustrations. We may be able to check you in at other times but is not guaranteed. NOW ONTO THE SPACE... Where we live: We live on a fairly quiet, leafy road, less than a 10 minute walk from the centre of Moseley village! It's close enough to feel like you're in central Moseley with all its amazing cafes, restaurants and bars; but it's also far away enough to offer some beautiful peace and quiet. Moseley really does give that village feel, with its easy going Bohemian atmosphere, quirky bars and restaurants, mix of cafes and pubs and award winning Farmer’s market. Here's some answers to some of the most commonly asked questions. 1. WHAT'S IN THE ROOM? The room has a comfy king size bed, two bedside tables with lamps and a chair. Bedding and towels are provided.. 2 WHAT'S THE SHARED SPACE? You are welcome to use the bathroom, kitchen and garden. Basic cooking facilities are available and tea/coffee are provided. There is no microwave and kitchen cooking utensils are minimal. This is not the kitchen to prepare gourmet meals! But simple meals will be possible for your convenience. We kindly ask that guests do not use the washing machine. And that they do not modify the heating controls. 3. WHAT ABOUT ACCESS/KEYS? You will have your own set of keys for the main doors (and you can access the key for the side passage into the garden). We usually check guests in by appointment from 4pm. 4. ANY PARKING? We have free parking on the drive at the front of the property that you are welcome to use (super handy and very rare in central Moseley!). 5. ARE YOU NEAR THE CITY CENTRE? Yep! We are just 3 miles away from the city centre - you can catch the Number 1 bus (the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away and goes directly past Edgbaston Cricket Ground), the Number 50 bus, which is the most frequent bus service in Europe and runs 24/7 (the bus stop is a 7 minute walk away) or the Number 35 bus (also a 7 minute walk away). We live 1.5 miles from Edgbaston cricket ground if you're coming for the cricket. 6. WHO DO YOU HOST? Our place is most suited to clean, tidy and quiet professionals coming for work/study; or people wishing to visit the local attractions/cricket/city rather than people coming to go all night clubbing! Our place is quiet, clean and homely and we ask that you respect that when staying by keeping noise to a minimum especially before 8am and after 8pm. 7. POTENTIAL VIEWINGS The apartment is currently up for sale. We will try to avoid viewings during your stay but there may be occasions where this is unavoidable. Should a viewing take place during your stay, we would not enter your room (unless you gave us prior permission to do so). Guest access Guests are welcome to use our bathroom and our lovely garden. All other areas including the lounge and kitchen are currently closed to guests due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Other things to note We also ask that no outdoor shoes are worn anywhere other than the hall. Thanks! :-)
