Completely self-contained upstairs part of traditional cosy house in a peaceful old residential part of town. Note: The space is most comfortable for 2 people, 3 to 4 people works for shorter stays. Great connections: Airport, buses 41, 16, and 19(slow). Bus stops (centre/airport), 3mins. Drumcondra rail station, 3mins . 15 minute walk to O'Connell St. Nearby: * many small restaurants, e.g. Shouk * great parks, e.g. Griffith Park & Botanical Gardens. * great pubs, e.g. Fagans * Croke Park The space The whole upstairs area (bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette room) is for your exclusive use. Bedroom 1 measures 3.10m x 2.80m. Bedroom 2 measures 4m by 3m. All the old houses have high ceilings of ca. 2.8m which gives a great feeling of space and light. The beds are hotel quality (not IKEA) and measure 1.35m x 1.90m (Irish double size). There is a small desk in the larger bedroom and fitted wardrobes with plenty of storage space (a desk can be added to the smaller bedroom on request). The bathroom contains a good "power shower". Gas heating ensures plentiful hot water. The kitchenette room allows for basic cooking (microwave, induction hob, mini fridge, pots, pans, plates & washing-up bowl etc.) (check the pictures and the list of amenities). Note: the dishwasher is in bedroom 1. More than 2 guests: the kitchenette only has 2 chairs and is very basic. For shorter stays I can allow more guests if you accept these restrictions - let me know when booking. Guest access You have full and exclusive access to the upstairs area - there are no shared spaces. The downstairs area is blocked off. During your stay I am present downstairs in the house BUT due to Covid-19 all interaction is via Airbnb messaging or telephone only. Other things to note 1. You need to be able to use the stairs. 2. If booking for more than 2 people you acknowledge that this may be a less comfortable stay, specifically there is limited seating in the kitchenette. 3. For your safety (due to Covid-19) the rooms will not be cleaned for the duration of your stay. Cleaning products and a vacuum cleaner are available for use in the space. Spare sheets and towels are available in the space too.
