Charming Pool House

Charming, open-plan pool house surrounded by the stunning Hampshire countryside. RSPB forests on the doorstep for those interested in bird watching as well as an abundance of beautiful countryside walks, including the nearby historical Hazeley Heath. The perfect location to relax in a spacious and serene space. The space The inside of the pool house is open plan (two storeys) and includes a small kitchenette (at the side of the sitting room), a dining area, shower room, separate WC, large sitting room/tv area and large bedroom space upstairs. Ground Floor: In the sitting area, there is large L-shaped sofa and wall mounted television with a delightful log burner for those chilly nights The kitchen has a small electric hob/oven, toaster, a small under-counter fridge, kettle and freestanding microwave. The microwave is kept at the side of the room and can be plugged into the underside of the kitchen counter when required. On arrival the fridge will be stocked with milk, juice, bread and butter. The kitchen also provides tea, coffee and sugar. There is a shower room and separate WC both located downstairs. The shower room has a large double shower with two over head showers and two wall mounted attachments. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided. Upstairs: Upstairs is one large open plan bedroom with a king sized bed, 2 x chest of drawers, a hanging rail, two armchairs as well as a desk and chair. There is lots of light with two large windows at either end of the property. Upstairs also has 5 x Velux windows (with blinds) on the front side of the building. There is an additional pull out single bed in the corner of the room should this be required. Be aware the ceiling is sloped so this bed needs to be pulled out far enough so that you do not hit your head! Outside: Step outside onto a paved patio area which surrounds the pool, you will find a sofa, two chairs & coffee table. There is a small grassed area to the side of the pool house. We ask that the pool itself is not used and the cover is not touched/opened. The pool house is set back from the main house and feels private. There is off road parking within the main driveway (to the right as you drive in through the front gate). The pool house is accessed up a few steps and down a short pathway from where one parks. Please note there is a light switch at the beginning of the pathway (a grey floor mounted box to the right) . This will switch on the pathway lights as well as the lights on the exterior of the Pool House & can also be switched off once inside (light switch located on right side of entrance door once inside the building). We ask that these lights are only kept on when in use and not kept on over night when guests are sleeping. There is a lit up key lock box on the side /exterior of the pool house so that guests can let themselves in and out of the property on arrival & departure. Guest access The pool house and patio area immediately outside the pool house building only. Guests are not permitted to swim and use the pool. Other things to note There are a number of fabulous restaurants in the area including the award winning Mutton at Hazeley Heath (a short 10-15 minute walk or 5 minute drive away). The Leather Bottle (another great pub) is just around the corner as well as the famous Heckfield Place. I recommend that you take out holiday insurance in the event that you are unable to stay due to illness or other issues. There is no bath within the pool house. There are sloping ceilings upstairs on either side of the room. We ask guests to switch off the sky box so that the light turns from green to orange when it is not in use.
