A quick 9 minuite drive to Historic Main Street ( Gloucester Village ) where there are shopping, local markets, events, and dining. The space As you approach this unique and peaceful French Style Apartment ( The Carriage House ) you will notice views of the North River. This space has its own private entrance features a queen bed, living area with a pull out sleep sofa, also access to two roll away cots for extra sleeping space. In the living area there is a 35 inch TV with local channels. Plenty of seating throughout this space for a family. Also has a charming equipped kitchenette featured with a mini fridge, self service coffee maker, microwave, sink, and counter space. This charming little corner has everything you need for your getaway. In the dining area there is a table and chair set big enough for a family and can easily be turned into a cozy workspace. In the bathroom you will find a beautiful stand up shower. Large vanity and mirror. During your stay you will be provided with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. As well as bar soap and lotions from a local business in Williamsburg, VA- Perfectly Natural Soaps. In addition you will be provided a calendar of local events for easy access to all things to do around the nearby counties such as Gloucester, Mathews, Williamsburg, and the Northern Neck. Guest access - Guests CAN enjoy dock access however, use of the boats and boat lift will NOT be permitted. - You will have access to the side lot, however access to the main house and cottage will NOT be permitted. - With this property you will get to experience strolls on the shoreline, river views, fishing and crabbing off the dock, paddle boarding, dock seating, kayaking, and walk and bike trails. - Around the neighborhood it is open and great for bike riding and walking/ running. - Stores or restaurants will require a short drive. - Parking available ( 2 car maximum ) in front of carriage house. Parking can be upgraded to covered parking at an additional cost. - Dock is available if traveling by boat. Water Mean Low 8 Foot at High Tide Other things to note - This residence is home to the historic Dixondale Wharf where steamboats once picked up Gloucester Citizens heading North. -The main house on the property has been on Garden Tour in 2010 and Ware River Circle of the Kings Daughters Annual Christmas Tour in 2012. -NO Pets will be allowed during the duration of your stay. -NO Open Flame NO Smoking, Incenses, or Candles in the Carriage House
