Description

This is a renovated room that was originally a kimono shop built in the late Edo period. The building is over 150 years old, built in a townhouse style, and is connected by a dirt floor from the entrance to the back. This room is a 10 tatami mat Japanese-style room on the second floor. This is the first of three guest rooms. The guest rooms are separated by sliding doors, but if you rent the whole place, you can remove them and use it as a large room. Usually it can accommodate up to 5 people, but if you connect the next room, it can accommodate up to 14 people. Please let us know if you would like to learn more about the private rental plan.

50,000 yen per night + cleaning fee 5,500 yen 10-minute walk from Shin-Hita Station. It is in the center of the city, very close to the city hall. Within walking distance, you will find the brewery and brewery resort "Gokairi", the Japanese garden "Shimizu-en" and many temples, making it perfect for walking around. Located in a shopping district, there is no shortage of lunch and dinner. There are many Japanese sweet shops because of the tea culture, and there are many nice coffee shops and nice privately run stores. The bar area is also a short walk away. It is not as convenient as a hotel, but please use it as a tourist facility that feels like you are staying in the city. The space The room is an old Japanese house. We have renovated it and taken measures to prevent drafts, but you can still experience the old-fashioned Japanese lifestyle. In summer, you can use a mosquito net, and when you open the sliding doors, a cool natural breeze will pass through, and you can experience the beauty of a Japanese house. The sliding paper doors on one side brighten the room. Guest access The shop section at the entrance is a shared space and a community space. You can eat and drink there, and you can also play table tennis and other games. Other things to note There is no bath or shower, so please use the public bath "Iideno-yu" in the neighborhood, which boils water with firewood. Iidenoyu is closed on Mondays and is open from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tattoos are also okay. If you are driving, we also recommend Tsukioka Onsen, which will make your skin smooth, and the five-headed onsen town of Radium Onsen. All rooms are separated by sliding doors, and people who are sensitive to talking voices and sounds may feel uncomfortable. Please understand in advance. Parking Information We have one parking space available per room reservation. Please let us know in advance if you are using a car. [About changing the number of guests] Please contact us as soon as possible.
