Private en-suite room in modern home located just 5 minutes walk from Haymarket train station where all buses, trams and trains stop (you might hear the train/tram coming and going during your stay if you keep the window open). The room is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers (conferences at EICC) and those who come for concerts, rugby matches and events at BT Murrayfield stadium. We would love to welcome you into our lovely home and will be on hand to assist where we can. The space Please read before booking: _We cannot accommodate any cooking in our kitchen during your stay. Guests can use microwave and ovens to heat food. _We cannot accommodate infant and children under 14. _We do not offer the use of washing machine. _Guests need to climb 2 flights of stairs to reach the bedroom; entrance, shared dining area and utility room are on the ground floor. _Please keep your outdoor shoes inside the shoe bench in the hallway to help keep the flooring and carpets in great condition. We have indoor slippers for the ground floor if needed. _It is very strictly no smoking anywhere inside the house. We would appreciate if any smoking is done outside the house during your stay. _Guests are expected to tidy up after themselves in both private and shared areas. _We have a pet Dachshund dog, he is a barky breed. The bedroom: -King size bedroom en-suite in large, second floor home next to Haymarket station. -Walk in closet with ample storage space for clothes. -Toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste), towels and hairdryer will be provided. Transportation: -By train: 5 minutes walk to Haymarket train station. -By tram: 5 minutes walk to nearest tram stop. -By bus: Excellent transport links to and from the house, bus 12,18,26,31 stop outside on main street (stop Magdala Crescent). -On the Airlink 100 local bus route to the airport (stop HH). Neighbourhood: -Quiet, peaceful and tucked away area right in the heart of Edinburgh. -Groceries and restaurants, bars and pubs are all within walking distance (we are happy to share with you some of our favourites). The home: We have another special member who will be greeting and welcoming you into our home: our dog Pudding. He is a miniature long haired dachshund, he is very energetic and playful. The extra bits: -We offer to store your luggage if you arrive before your check in time. -We offer to store your luggage until 5 p.m. of your check out date while you explore the city. -Please enquire for parking space if needed or check out our other listing that comes with free parking. Guest access -Guests have access to dining space and utility room (for microwave). -Guests can use designated fridge, microwave, plates and bowls to prepare simple meals. (no cooking using hob) -Guests can have biscuits, butter, jam, tea, hot chocolate and cereal on our snack bar. During your stay We very much value the privacy of our guests during their stay, but also enjoy meeting our guests to give advice and are happy to answer any questions or requests before, during or after your stay. We live in the house on the ground floor and are always quick to respond to messages.
