The Hideaway: family/couples garden retreat lodge

Nestled in a quiet and secluded spot, The Hideaway's countryside location offers you a peaceful and relaxing getaway whilst still being just 2.5 miles from the beach and within walking distance of Folly Farm. Imagine peaceful mornings with a book, days spent at one of the local attractions and evenings with the sound of lions from Folly Farm. Enjoying our spacious garden, having fun in our well-equipped games room all makes Begelly Breaks a perfect destination for families and couples alike. The space Perfect for family-friendly holidays and couple's getaways, The Hideaway at Begelly Breaks is a peaceful haven from the busyness of life. Situated at the end of the driveway and surrounded by gardens and nature, our spacious and comfortable static caravan has ramped access from the parking area making it easy to unload luggage, pushchairs and children without having to navigate steps. The comfortable king-size master bedroom with ensuite wc, has plenty of storage and is the perfect place to cuddle up after a busy day exploring. In keeping with our woodland theme, you will find some small cuddly animal toys in the twin room which young guests really enjoy playing with. The twin beds can also be made up as a small double. Preparing meals is easy in the well-equipped kitchen, with its full-size fridge-freezer, gas cooker with oven, microwave and plenty of storage for your provisions. Additionally you will find toddler cutlery, bowls, plates and cups, and families can enjoy eating together at the table (a highchair is available on request) or al fresco on the decking. Spend your evenings relaxing in the comfortable lounge with its free-standing furniture and cosy fire. The sofa makes up into a small double bed. Watch your favourite shows on the smart tv. HDMI cable provided to enable you to connect your devices. Head out from the patio doors in the lounge onto the decking where you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast, keeping an eye out for the wild rabbits, before heading off for your day's adventure. Wind down here in the evening with your favourite drink while the children play safely in the garden or head off to the games room for some fun. Children can enjoy the swing and slide set down near The Hideaway and you can enjoy playing games on our large lawn. The games room is equipped with a pool table, table tennis, table football and a host of board games and toys, some of which can be found under the bench seating by the large table. Just outside the games room is our new storage bench which contains beach toys and body boards for you to take to the beach, saving you valuable packing space. Explore the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park just a stone's throw away with it's stunning beaches, including Saundersfoot and Tenby just a 15-20 minute drive away - perfect for swimming, bodyboarding and sandcastles. History lovers will enjoy Pembroke Castle, while little ones will be thrilled by the Dinosaur Park and the activities and animals at Folly Farm - right on your doorstep. You can get last minute provisions from Begelly Stores just 5 minutes up the road, and pop down to Watkins Bakery for fresh bread and cakes just a short walk down the road. Guest access The Hideaway is in a secluded area at the end of the driveway at Begelly Breaks. With plenty of space to park at least 2 vehicles right outside, unloading the car is easy as there is ramped access to the door with no tricky steps to negotiate with luggage, children and pushchairs. Other things to note We have a shared driveway with electric security gates at the entrance. These are usually left open during the day and closed at night. A fob will be provided for you to use which you can return when you check out. The swing and slide set and all elements of the outside space and games room are used at your own risk. Please supervise your children in the games room. The games room also contains a rather ancient darts board. For safety reasons we do not supply darts so please bring your own if you wish to play.
