A unique attractive open plan Cabin for guests looking for a relaxing get away to the beautiful New Forest. The Cabin is located in the grounds of Ryans Cottage, in the middle of Bramshaw. The surroundings offer natural woods and trails, where you will have endless walks and cycle rides throughout some of England's most stunning countryside. A wonderful habitat for birds, deer, ponies and donkeys. There are many local pubs, restaurants, coffee shops for those valuable lunches and evening meals. The space The typical forest style Cabin offers not just a basic bed and breakfast, but an open plan design allowing space for comfortable relaxation and you to enjoy the stylish amenities. The kitchenette and dining area are equipped with everyday essentials and equipment which includes Microwave, Kettle, Toaster and Fridge/Freezer. There is plenty of space on the farmhouse oak table for a work area. There is pretty good internet for those who want to bring their work with them. We are pleased to provide a light breakfast to start your day off with fresh Bread, pastries, cererals, fresh juice, milk and coffee and tea.. also yogurts and biscuits and an assortment of fruit. (See allergies disclaimer) The Bedroom area has a large comfortable king size double bed with a wardrobe and bedside cabinets providing ample storage space. There is comfortable small two seater sofa to relax on and watch TV. A Large private bathroom with shower cubicle and a large heated towel rail, we supply fluffy towels and the other essentials in the bathroom. Outside you can enjoy the view from the room and private raised patio where you can enjoy a glass of wine and refreshments. Total privacy throughout the whole environment for you to enjoy. There is secure on site car parking for one car, at owners own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for any damages. You will find in the cabin, plenty of local magazines, maps and hiking routes and information about things available to see and discover in the new forest national park.🏞️ Guest access You will have the full access of Ryans Cabin which is based at the top righthand corner of the gardens. Outside you have a small raised patio to enjoy the view and where you can relax. There is also a lower patio with wooden garden furniture and a fire pit and a small charcoal BBQ for your use if required. We supply small logs only. On arrival you will enter via 5 bar gates and drive straight into a reserved parking space by the trellis and rambling rose bush. Enter through the picket fence gate and following the path down the garden to Ryans Cabin. The pathway and areas around the property are tastefully lighted for your safety and comfort. There is a locked key box should we not be available. It is generally our policy to meet and greet our valuable guests and to advise briefly on the workings and procedures, and the location of local amenities. Other things to note We are animal lovers and own 2 horses, 2 dogs & 2 cats, so please close gates to keep our pets safe and the cheeky donkeys out. We have a lockable Bike Store next to the Cabin if required. We can arrange Cycle Hire or pass details to you. There are bus routes to and from most nearby towns. Blashford Lakes are located locally, the Wildlife Trust has a huge area housing many hides and trails along with an information centre,toilets and guides. The hides are located in good vantage points where you can view many birds swimming and hunting the lakes. Eagles, Ospreys, Hawks and Owls are frequently seen hunting . A great wintering area for waterfowl. We also have a lake that is home to Ellingham Waterski and Wakeboard Club, open from April to November where you can enjoy the club facilities which include skiing, wakeboarding and surfing and open water swimming. We have special options to take our guests as visitors if you fancy a try at all water sports. Just ask me. Jurassic Coast and other fabulous sandy beaches are so close. A local tour bus covers most of the forest daily in season. Salisbury, Winchester Cathedral’s along with Bath and Romsey Towns are nearby for day-trips. I am happy to advise you of easy walks and bird watching outings directly from our place , also good to see ponies, donkeys, wild pigs and deer along the route. Even a nice pub or two for breakfast along the way. There are wild birds and animals roaming freely around the new forest and our cottage and garden. Beware of any contact and respect them. Also as it’s a forest environment there will be dust, fur and feathers everywhere that can set off allergies etc. Be prepared and bring your medicine and control systems. We clean the accommodation daily and are very thoughtful throughout, but insects and dust can appear anywhere and anytime. However let us know as soon as possible, so that we can deal with any issues straight away.
