Stay in a charming little home on the banks of Porvoonjoki, a stone's throw from the city center. The apartment is a short walk from both the old town and the services of the west coast, as well as the numerous restaurants and cafes in Porvoo. The Empire-style house was originally built in 1897 as a customs house and converted for residential use in the 2010s. The apartment is in great condition and its equipment level is excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and the terrace at the entrance has beautiful views of the river shore. The space The apartment has a combined living room-kitchen and a separate sleeping alcove. The sleeping alcove has a 140 cm wide double bed and the sofa in the living room can be opened to a 110 cm wide extra bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all the usual cooking utensils. The bathroom has a bathtub and a separate shower. A washing machine and dryer are freely available to guests. The flush button on the wall-mounted toilet is currently defective, and you can find instructions for flushing the toilet above the seat. The apartment has a very fast fiber optic connection and cable TV. Other things to note The apartment works as my home when it's not rented, according to the original idea of Airbnb, so there are also personal belongings there. I hope that my guests will treat the apartment with the same affection as their own home and also respect my privacy in terms of separately marked personal cabinets and drawers. The housing association is completely smoke-free and smoking is also prohibited on the terrace.
