Moonbah Chalet

Moonbah Chalet is a luxurious, peaceful hideaway located 5 minutes from the heart of Jindabyne up Barry way. The sandstone cottage is built to capture stunning views and provides guests with silence, privacy and a sense of escape with friendly kangaroos as the neighbours. A perfect base to explore the snowy mountains, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing and sailing on Lake Jindabyne. The space The space is warm and inviting. The large windows capture the views of the beautiful National Park surrounds, with Thatcher's Mountain and Mount Stony at the forefront. 2 bedrooms are located downstairs with queen bed and 2 king size bunks with double futon if required. A main bedroom is upstairs with queen bed and ensuite. All furnishings are of a high standard and the cottage is kept impeccably clean and well appointed. Guest access The property is located on 8 acres with a large concrete driveway leading to a 4 car lockable garage. Or parking at the side or front of the cottage. The shed has a drying room for skis and snowboards. Other things to note The property has a number of unique garden statues and fire pits for guest use, with firewood provided. Lots of beautiful spaces for an outdoor picnic. Camping is allowed if specifically approved by the host. There is lots of space for motor bikes, mountain bikes or outdoor games.
