At the end of a path immersed in the Mediterranean scrub of a Natural Park, a few steps from the enchanting Bay of Cala Moresca, stands “Amorisca”, an old building in red porphyry, an ancient refuge for stone quarrymen. A skillful restoration, the result of research and love for beauty, has revealed a story to tell from every corner and every object; it is difficult not to grasp its light, scents, and emotions: welcome to the Heart of Ogliastra 'Land of Centenarians'. INDOOR: the accommodation is equipped with a living area with kitchenette, a large bedroom, a bathroom and a comfortable outdoor pergola where there is a private barbecue area. It is accessed via self check-in and is equipped with Wi-Fi and summer air conditioning while for winter the heating is on the floor. There is a fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, milk frother and induction cooktop. A hairdryer and a 'Ghd' flat iron. There is also a small closet-laundry area where you can find an ironing board, iron and clothes rack. OUTDOOR: The AMORISCA garden is a park from which to best enjoy the nature that surrounds you. In an outdoor area equipped with a barbecue, seating and a breakfast table, you can also enjoy romantic grilled dinners on summer evenings. Guest access From the small Calamoresca square, where you can park your car, on your right you will find a small wrought iron gate, open it and after a few meters you will find our house at the foot of the Batteria Park. Other things to note We are located a few steps from the picturesque Cala Moresca, a small rocky inlet where the intense colors of granite and the crystalline clarity of the sea come together in a spectacular chromatic combination. Going upstream on foot along the paths of the Park, you can reach the top of the promontory where, between the song of cicadas and the cries of seagulls, your gaze can embrace the infinite blue and make you feel like the only human beings between the sky and the sea. Descending to the valley along a footpath, you will soon arrive in the center of the seaside village of Arbatax, rich in sounds and humanity, where you can reach the famous Red Rocks and the marina from which to sail to discover the pristine Cala Goloritzè, Cala Mariolu, Cala Luna, Cala Sisine and take a dip in the crystal clear pools of Venus or organize a hike to discover the Wild Blue. In our house a few steps from the sea, a relaxing vacation awaits you. A few minutes by car you can enjoy the beauty of the beach of Portu Frailis, San Gemiliano, with its historic Saracen tower and all the beaches of our coast, from the "Lido di Orrì" to the "bay of Cea", but not only, also Nuragic archaeological sites such as "s'Ortali 'e su Monti", a few km from the center of Tortolì. For trekking enthusiasts, we always recommend exploring the "GOLGO Plateau" (BAUNEI), from which you can reach Cala Goloritzè by land, an unforgettable experience. In the village of Arbatax you will have essential services at your disposal such as pharmacy, supermarket, post office, tobacco shop, but also beauty center, hairdresser, pastry shop and also numerous restaurants and bars. During your vacation you can taste all the typical dishes of Sardinian tradition, both from the land and sea. There are numerous clubs in the Arbatax area, we recommend Bitta, Bepi da Guia, Acquolina, Taratasciar and Acquachiara, for an unforgettable aperitif overlooking the sea. Along the main street of Tortolì you will find Locanda 45, Lucittà, s'Apposenteddu and many others, all waiting to be discovered.
