Forest Glamping

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located on the campus of Whitecap Kayak, this is one of two guide cabins. During the summer season, Kayak guides stay on campus, but in winter we can offer these quaint cabins to new friends. A 40 yard hike brings you to the Learning Center which has private bathrooms for your use. Located just south of Washburn, the cabins are close to Ashland, Bayfield, snowmobile trails, hiking trails, and skiing. The space This is a little cabin with a simple kitchenette, a twin bed, a full sized futon, and a couple chairs. There us no running water, but a freeflowing artesian well to gather water. It is cozy and clean and perfect for a ski or snowshoe weekend away. Located on the Whitecap Kayak learning center Campus, it is one of two cabins. The bathrooms are about a 40 yard hike from the cabin, are private, heated, and lockable. Guest access There are 10 acres of property for wandering or snowshoeing. There us a firepit, and covered outdoor eating or gathering place at the Learning Center. Inside the boathouse, there is a kitchen, or area for gathering at your request. Other things to note Parking is in front of the Learning Center. Head toward the right side of the building to find the path which takes you across the little creek to your cabin...which is the one on the left (east).
