Lovely private room - with en-suite

A lovely, relaxing, top floor room with en-suite in our Victorian family home. It's only a 5 minute walk from the Malin Bridge tram stop with direct access into the City (15mins) for the universities, theatres, shops, bars and train station. Ideal for walking, cycling or running (from the doorstep) in the beautiful Rivelin and Loxley valleys. Further afield, the delights of the Peak District are easily accessible by car or by bus/train from the City. A warm Yorkshire welcome awaits you. The space The room and en-suite are the only rooms on the top floor of the house so feel very private. The house itself is half of a larger property originally built in the 1870's and is full of lovely original and restored Victorian features. We have been painstakingly renovating and improving the property over the last few years Our eclectic choice of décor reflects the age of the house as well as our own personal taste. Guest access You have access to the Hall, stairs and the top floor bedroom with en-suite. The south facing back garden, patio and BBQ and fire pit can be used. There is a kettle in the room and various drinks etc are provided. Full cooking facilities are not normally available but may be considered, particularly for longer stays - You are however welcome to some space in our fridge as well as use of the microwave - just ask us Please also feel free to mingle with us in the downstairs spaces. During your stay As the room is in our home we always aim to greet our guests on check in and we're happy to chat, interact or give advice or we can leave you in peace - whatever is your preference. Other things to note As the room is on the top floor, there are 2 sets of stairs to negotiate (not steep) We do have another letting room on a different floor so you may occasionally see other guests Due to our work patterns a cooked breakfast isn't provided on the premises - we also no longer run our own little cafe but we're happy to provide a few complimentary breakfast snacks. Sometimes there is a parking space available on our driveway but if it is occupied there are plenty of free on street spaces.
