The space This is a walk-out basement studio-style unit in a traditional westside single family two-story home. Hosts may/may not be occupying the upstairs during your stay. Guest access is around back of the home through a private entrance. Guests walk down a wooded gravel path to access the entrance. Pathway is illuminated after sunset. The space includes a living area with large flatscreen tv, Roku HD, and microwave and mini-fridge for your use. A K-cup machine, water kettle, and mugs are provided so that you can enjoy tea and coffee throughout your stay. The full bathroom is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, shower gel, cotton swabs, and a hair dryer. A large pass-through opening with privacy shade separates queen bed sleeping area from conversation area & living room, which serve as ample space to set up the pillow-top queen air mattress for additional registered guests. The queen bed sleeping area includes a desk for your work needs, a kitchenette, and dropside dining table containing chairs in a concealed compartment. A mirror with natural lighting is above work desk, providing the perfect place for applying makeup or simply reflecting. Outdoors, cafe lights, a Weber grill, and dining & bistro seating next to the koi pond are available for your enjoyment. The hanging chair swings are perfect for relaxing nights under the stars. Guest access Entire basement unit, small fenced backyard area and adjoining side yard with Weber grill and entry pathway. Other things to note We are a dog-friendly family. We welcome your canine friend (30 lb. max weight). Please clean up after your pet and crate them if leaving them unsupervised on the premises. The backyard has a small fence that is suitable for a relief area. There is a friendly outdoor cat on the premises that keeps unwanted critters under control. Tech notes: The security camera near private entrance will be disabled once guest has checked in and will remain off until check-out. Also, there is a small white Ecobee temperature sensor in the space. This device shares temp only and has no microphone or camera on board.
