Sancerre: Rent a nice furnished house renovated in 2025, At the foot of Sancerre, facing the Loire, close to all shops, its windows overlook a nature reserve for birds. Closed courtyard. Wifi is included. Living room with open-plan kitchen, separate toilet and hand basin. Upstairs, 2 independent bedrooms, bathroom with toilet. Less than 2 hours from Paris, in close proximity to Sancerre, Chavignol, golf, canoeing, swimming pools... Ideal to unwind, for a weekend or vacation. We can provide you with sheets, towels, bath mats, tea towels for a package of 25 euros per stay (to be paid on arrival). In this case, we will ask you to leave the used linen on the ground floor at the end of your stay. We can also lend you a travel cot. Otherwise, we only provide mattress covers and pillow covers. You will therefore need to bring your bed linen (a 140 cm wide bed, 220 x 240 cm duvet, 65 x 65 cm pillows; two 90 cm wide beds, 140 x 200 cm duvets, 65 cm x 65 cm pillows) and your towels. In the heart of a village located close to Sancerre, elected favorite village of the French, the house, full of charm, has a direct view of the wild Loire and a small enclosed courtyard overlooking the Loire. It is composed, on the ground floor, of a living room with a nice functional fireplace (sleeps 1 to 2), an American kitchen and separate toilet with integrated sink. Upstairs, two independent bedrooms (four beds), the first of which has a beautiful direct view of the Loire and the second, with two windows, a more lateral view, and a bathroom with toilet refurbished in 2025 (sink, shower, toilet, washing machine). In the village of Saint Thibault sur Loire and close to all shops (bakery three minutes walk), its windows overlook a nature reserve for the birds of the Loire. The area is beautiful and largely unknown. Less than two hours from Paris by train (Tracy sur Loire / Tracy Sancerre station) or by car, a change of scenery is guaranteed, for a weekend or a week. Summer swimming pool in the village (swimming lesson possible in summer) and swimming pool in Belleville sur Loire, tennis 5 minutes walk (possibility of tennis course in summer, by reservation), equestrian centers (courses possible during all school holidays), golf in Saint Satur, karting, bowling, pubs... Numerous possibilities for walks and hikes on foot or by bike (GR, bike paths, Loire by bike...). The house is located right in front of the Loire bike path. Fishing, canoeing down the Loire (plan to book, especially with the Loire company, nature, discovery; swimsuit, picnic and straw hats recommended!), hot air balloon flight over the Sancerrois (especially from Boulleret), visits to goat farms (the bête noire in Ménétréol), cellars (Fleuriet in Verdigny)... In the immediate vicinity: Sancerre (visit to the medieval town - cellars - crottins) - Pouilly-sur-Loire (Cellars) - Verdigny (cellars) - Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye (Pottery) Guédelon (Castle under construction) - Sounds and lights (Saint-Fargeau show, Rogny-les-Sept-Écluses). A little further: Bourges, Nevers, Briare (Le Pont-Canal), Gien, Vézelay, Morvan (Lac des Settons, Château-Chinon, Bibracte…), Berry, Puisaye, Loire Valley… Guest access You can access the house either by handing over the keys in person or by a key box. Other things to note Bed linen and sheets are not normally provided. However, we can provide them and make your beds before your arrival, for a fee of 25 euros to be paid on arrival.
