Quiet, Lovely, & Secluded House + Close to Town

Nottingham House is located in the hills above Fairbanks, providing a quiet and private location that is close to much of Fairbanks. The privacy allows quiet views of the stunning winter sunrises, as well as extended animal viewing in the back yard. With the large, south-facing windows, guests are able to experience the light of Fairbanks at all stages of the year. The space The unit can accommodate up to 8 people and is part of a duplex, having two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen and living room area, a dining area, and laundry room. Additionally, there are two pullout couches: one in the living room and one in the primary bedroom. Please note that more than 4 guests will add an additional charge of $25 each/night. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, tiled bathroom, and seating area with a pull out full bed that can be walled off with sliding pocket doors to create a semi-private bedroom. Another tiled bathroom services the other bedroom, with queen bed, to accommodates the rest of the group. The kitchen is stocked with amenities and small appliances for preparing your meals. Contemporary, open kitchen and dining room invite warm gatherings. The tiled showers and bathrooms are elegant and spacious. This home truly feels like it's in the middle of the woods (it is!) but it's a short few miles from town. You can connect to dozens of miles of ski and bike trails from the house if you're up for an adventure, or you can drive a few miles to find them too. In the summer there's plenty of yard space to take advantage of during your stay. With its prime location and amenities, the Nottingham House is a perfect place to stay while visiting Fairbanks with your group. Up to 8 people can stay together in our lovely home. Guest's entrance code to the separate door is the last four digits of their phone number; the door is down a slight hill that's plowed in the winter. Guests have access to the entire space: two bedrooms, kitchen, laundry room, dining room, living room, and 2 bathrooms. Other things to note We provide coffee and tea for guests. We don't set up the pull out couches unless requested 24 hours in advance, but for those who wish to use them the linens can be accessed in the closets in each bedroom. We also have extra linens in the space that guests are welcome to use, we just ask that they don't put them back so we know to clean them.
