This one bedroom cabin in Pioneertown is the perfect retreat for couples, friends or solo travelers. It offers amazing views of the surrounding landscape, with a fire pit for enjoying the nights under a blanket of stars. The cabin is off-grid with solar power, but offers all the comforts of home with a King bed, indoor fireplace & outdoor dining & seating area. This is a great spot to relax and recharge, while still being close enough to all the local attractions. Secluded yet close to everything: 5 minutes ➔ La Copine 12 minutes ➔ Pappy & Harriet’s 15 minutes ➔ Frontier Cafe and Old Town Yucca Valley 15 minutes ➔ Integratron 16 minutes ➔ Joshua Tree National Park Visitors Center 45 minutes ➔ Palm Springs The Ocotillo is private but our sister cabin, The Yucca, is on the same 5 acre property. Highlights include: - 1 bedroom with comfy King bed. Sleeps up to 2 guests. - Skylight over the bed for stargazing. - Off-grid with solar power. - Amazing views in all directions. - Zero light pollution. - Gas fire pit and grill. - Outdoor dining and seating area. - Gas fireplace for cozy night. - Pet friendly for up to 1 well behaved pup. - Open floor plan kitchen, dining and living area. - Coffee with pour over maker ready to start your day. Please note: This cabin is 100% off grid and uses solar power with a generator as a back up. This means it's best to conserve as much power as you can once the sun goes down. If the battery runs below 25% the generator will kick on, but please be aware, it's loud, so it's better to avoid needing it. There is a tablet in the cabin where you can monitor the battery level. -- Owned by Tyler & Brandy, a husband and wife team who work together to renovate and develop projects with a modern look and feel. Together, they work alongside their realtors, architecture team, GCs, and interior designers to create truly special properties. Tyler specializes in finding and funding the deal, as well as coordinates planning and acquiring them while Brandy project manages and handles finishing out each property. They have completed five projects, two in Brooklyn, two in Los Angeles and now here in Joshua Tree. With their family, you can find them checking out potential deals, hiking, biking and having dinner parties. -- The project was brought to life with Duane Founder and Principle Designer at Hundred Mile House. Duane studied sustainable architecture at the Bauhaus in Dessau. He has completed design-build residential and retail projects throughout the United States and Canada and has been featured in numerous global design and architecture magazines, books and editorials.
