Newly renovated, inside & out, this tasteful & modern sun-filled beach house is just 300m walk around the corner from Ruby Bay. Set on the Great Taste Trail and near top wineries, it’s a private coastal escape for couples or solo travellers seeking fresh sea air, native bird song, beach walks, seaside dining, boutique shopping and relaxed village life. The region’s gem Māpua Wharf is an easy 2km walk, ride, or drive away. The space Welcome to Ruby Blue Beach House When you enter Ruby Blue Beach House, the first thing you’ll notice is that it appears much bigger than in the photos. Staying with us you’ll have your own private space in a secure wing, complete with a separate entrance, outdoor patio, and wooden decking. From the wooden decking, you can enjoy seamless indoor-outdoor flow with glimpses of Tasman Bay through mature Phoenix palms. Den and I live in the top story section of the house above the garage, but you’ll barely notice we’re there. The home has been recently upgraded with double glazing throughout, a modern new bathroom, and a solid double-door partition that provides excellent soundproofing. A stairwell separates the guest house from our upstairs living, adding both security and outstanding noise reduction for a quiet, private and comfortable stay. Main Living area: The main living area is open-plan, combining the living room, dining area, kitchenette, and laundry. The space includes: • A comfy L-shaped lounge suite and coffee table • A small dining table with two sheepskin-covered leather chairs • A Smart TV • A well-equipped kitchenette with a multi-function oven that works as a convection oven, microwave, air fryer, and grill • A 126L under-bench fridge with a small freezer compartment • A washing machine & separate dryer, plus access to your own clothesline, drying rack, ironing board, and iron Bedroom: The bedroom features: • A queen-size bed • Bedside cabinets with lamps • A designated work desk with a desk lamp and chair • A rocking chair with a reading light • A spacious wardrobe with ample storage Guests are also welcome to use the Yamaha 61-key keyboard piano stored in the wardrobe. Bathroom: The spacious bathroom, accessible from both the hallway and the bedroom, includes: • A full size bathtub • A spacious shower • A toilet and a vanity Outdoors: Just outside your entrance is the Weber barbecue. This is great for cooking as it comes with a breakfast cook plate, a grill plate and a side burner for stovetop cooking. Large bi-fold doors open from the living area onto the patio, where you’ll find an Oktoberfest-style table and stools. There is plenty of outdoor furniture for relaxing off the main wooden decking as well. It’s a lovely spot to relax on warm evenings under the festoon lights, which create a magical atmosphere.
