The space Tucked away off the beaten track, this home is situated in a small, picturesque village in the rolling chalk downland of the South Downs National Park. Only a 5-minute drive (25 minute walk) from the historic county town of Lewes and 20 minutes from the city of Brighton. London is just an hour away by train. The South Downs Way runs along the hill line directly above the house, easily accessible by foot and is the gateway to hundreds of miles of bridleways and footpaths and some of Britain’s most glorious views. This modern barn style home offers the perfect space for weekend breaks and family get aways for groups of up to 8 people with four bedrooms, 2 en-suites and a family bathroom. Spacious, light and comfortable with luxurious details it has been intentionally designed around the spectacular view and to maximise the feel of ‘indoor outdoor’ living. The dramatic kitchen living space is on the first floor with bi-fold doors that lead directly out onto the balcony. The kitchen features a dual fuel 5-hob dual fan oven Rangemaster, an American style fridge/freezer with filtered water and ice dispenser, coffee machine, wine cooler and a Miele dishwasher. The ground floor has a master bedroom with a California King Bed (including Eve Hybrid Mattress), bi-fold doors onto the terrace and an ensuite bathroom with, dual sink, roll top bath and walk in shower. There are two further bedrooms – one with a King Bed and one with a double, along with a family bathroom and utility room equipped with new 10kg LG washer and dryer set. On the first floor there is a separate bedroom/office which includes a double bed, ensuite shower room and dedicated desk space. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and its surrounding garden. There is dedicated parking outside for 3 cars. Other things to note The house includes WI-FI, Sky TV, a ceiling Wi-fi speaker system and electronic blinds in the main living space. There is an Outback quad burner gas BBQ on the balcony. There are two local pubs; The Juggs and The Abergavenny Arms within walking distance.
