Casa Cereza # 1 Hideaway

The Hideaway is one of three cozy studio apartments in Casa Cereza, Mexican decor, spacious patio overlooks the gated garden surrounded in bougainvillea. The beach is a short walk away, river is right outside the gate, fully equipped kitchen, AC, access to laundry room, fast WiFi. Close to stores, restaurants, hiking, fishing, snorkeling. You might see an iguana or two nesting in the trees alongside bananas and papaya trees. Safe and peaceful, Boca is a self sufficient little town. The space Casa Cereza is a small intimate estate consisting of three apartments, each with their own personality and decor, indoor and outdoor dining area, spacious interconnected patio areas. Boca is bisected by a gorgeous river, access via a pedestrian bridge, we are on the shady side, nestled against the jungle, the mountains, the river and the beach. Happy hikers pass by on their way to the beach town to the south and water taxis come and go all day long taking travelers to intro to the beaches to the south accessible, only through hiking or boating. Fishing, snorkeling, diving, zip lining, and the beautiful botanical gardens are close by. Guest access Located on the other side of the river that flows through the town, accessible by a pedestrian bridge. Parking is on the other side of the river, it’s free, but can get very busy during the day before all the visitors leave the beach and it may take a little while to find a spot (I usually always do). However there are also paid parking as well your car will be safe. Also note that Boca is a very rustic little Mexican town. Some of the roads are not paved, the paths are often natural terrain surrounded by the natural beauty of ocean, river, mountains and jungle. Stores, restaurants, hiking trails, and the beach are within walking distance. Other things to note In addition to Jungle Hideaway, Apt 1, Casa Cereza had 2 other apartments, Jungle Bungalow and Periquitos, all with AC. The Bungalow Is on the ground floor with large patios overlooking the garden, Hideaway is ground floor and Periquitos is on the 2nd floor, all with kitchens and private bathrooms. As a whole, it is a perfect place for small group vacations. Activities here included snorkeling, fishing, hiking, zip-lining, waterfalls, kayaking, day trips to other towns, it's close to downtown and cabs, ubers, buses and even water taxis are cheap and readily available. Pets: dogs only, maximum 1 and small or medium dogs only, must be well-behaved. Fee of $25 apply
