Tuscan escape in the hills – Podere Le Tombe

Agriturismo Podere Le Tombe is a family farm, located halfway up a hill surrounded by woods, olive trees and pastures, on the Tuscan hills of the Pisan hinterland. Here you will rediscover the simplicity of the countryside and immerse yourself in the sounds and colors of nature. On the uphill dirt road that leads to the farmhouses, at night, you may come across roe deer, porcupines and other wild animals. In the garden you will make friends with our cats and, if you wish, also with our dogs. The space The 55 sqm apartment is accessed via a rustic metal staircase that leads up from the private garden with shaded patio. It can accommodate up to 3 adults+1 children (+1 baby up to 2 years with crib on request, extra charge). It includes a bedroom with a double and a single bed, a large living room with dining area, single sofa bed and TV, bathroom with shower, and a fully equipped kitchen with oven. The sofa bed can only be used by children (the mattress is uncomfortable for an adult). Overlooking the garden, the home offers free Wi-Fi. The farmhouse is powered by solar panels. Guest access Guests have access to their private apartment and to the shared garden between the two farmhouses, equipped with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella – a peaceful spot to relax outdoors. The surrounding fields are fenced and home to free-roaming cattle and horses. For safety reasons, access to these areas is not allowed. Other things to note TOURIST TAX Not included in the rates: €2/night per guest over 10 years old, for up to 5 nights. The exact amount will be confirmed after booking. Payment in cash upon arrival. BABIES UP TO 2 YEARS Babies under 2 can stay for free if they sleep in the parents’ bed. A crib is available on request (extra €6/night, subject to availability). SLEEPING OPTIONS FOR 3 ADULTS + 2 CHILDREN The sofa bed in the living room is French style (120 x 190 cm): suitable for 1 adult or 2 children up to 8 years old.
