Summit Lawn Sojourn is located on top of South Mountain, offering views of the Lehigh Valley. Nestled in the woods, you feel nature's tranquility, whether looking out the windows or sipping coffee or a cocktail on the front porch and garden. This property is perfect for spending time with family and friends of all ages. The space Enter the property from the stone steps leading up to the driveway or front lawn. Proceed up stone steps, and you will find yourself on a large front porch overlooking the lawn, swimming pool, garden, and pickleball court (coming soon). The first floor offers a spacious entertaining space—dining room, living room, and kitchen with an eat-in booth—and one bedroom, bathroom with tub, and office space. The second floor consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The ceiling on the second floor is approximately 7’’ high—considerably lower than the ceilings on the first floor. Outside, you will find a garden with seating, an arbor, and a fire pit. In the summertime, the pool is open. It is fenced in, with an area to sit and enjoy the sun, and has a bathroom for guest use. Next to the pool is a pickleball court and basketball hoop for some friendly competition. In the basement, there is a laundry room. Watch your head as the ceiling is low on the stairwell leading to the basement. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the entire house and surrounding garden, yard, and pool (in the summer). Other things to note This is an old country home built in the 1930s. Although it has been updated over the years, it still has some old home features – the ceiling on the second floor is low (approximately 7’), the ceiling over the staircase leading to the basement is low, and the entrance through the garage is narrow and low. This property has a lot of stairs, and all access points to the living space are via stairs. This home is located near Interstate 78; therefore, guests will hear some highway noise and sounds when outside or with windows open.
