The 2 Family Dream Cottages

Relax with another family at this peaceful place to stay. We are offering 2 separate cottages about 250 feet apart. This is ideal for large families or 2 families who want to vacation together. Each has its own kitchen and accommodations. Each property has 200 feet of shoreline and fire pit. Enjoy all the best parts of being together and not being together for your amazing stay. 2 canoes 2 pedal boats 1 row boat 1 floating carpet The space The Hilltop: #9 Spur 1 - first property off the main spur, located on a hill, surrounded by trees with lakeview, and stairs to water below - 3 bed (2 queen, 1 bunk) - 1 full piece bathroom, single sink, toilet and built in tub/shower - Complete kitchen with all required cooking utensils, Stove, Refrigerator, Microwave (no dishwasher) - We do not keep any food items on site as this is the wilderness, and many bugs/animals in the area, we want to avoid them being interested in becoming a guest! - TV with DVD player - No wifi at this property (see Lakehouse) - No AC, ceiling fans, with individual fans per bedroom - Large lakeside deck with patio furniture, outdoor table and chairs and BBQ. Outdoor lighting can be plugged in by deck stairs near screened porch area - Screened in porch with additional patio furniture - Hot tub - Parking for 3 cars - Property runs on septic (limit flushing paper products, no feminine hygiene products - We offer linens for beds, however NO TOWELS, we do not have washing capacity to manage towel service, please bring your own - Cleaning Supplies, broom/vacuum kept by front door, other items under kitchen sink The Lakehouse: 11 Spur 1 - second property off the main spur, located right by the water surrounded by trees on the back/side - 3 bed (2 queen, 1 bunk) - 1 full piece bathroom, single sink, toilet and built in tub/shower - Complete kitchen with all required cooking utensils, Stove, Refrigerator, Microwave (no dishwasher) - We do not keep any food items on site as this is the wilderness, and many bugs/animals in the area, we want to avoid them being interested in becoming a guest! - Smart TV - Wifi - No AC, individual fans per bedroom - Large lakeside deck with patio furniture, outdoor table and chairs and BBQ. - Parking for 4+ cars - Property runs on septic (limit flushing paper products, no feminine hygiene products - We offer linens for beds, however NO TOWELS, we do not have washing capacity to manage towel service, please bring your own - Cleaning Supplies, broom/vacuum kept in bathroom behind shower other items under kitchen sink Both Properties, - Fire Pit, please pay special notice to burning times which will be noted on signs as you drive up, typically cannot start fire until after 7 PM - please respect burn times or you may face a fine. Firewood is for purchase at local Foodland in Buckhorn - Outdoor furniture and Muskoka chairs, these are very heavy and we ask that if you choose to move the chairs during your stay that you move them back in place before you leave, our cleaning staff does not have capacity to manage this. Please leave the property as you found it! Water access, both Lakehouse and Hilltop are located in a bay, with option for walk in (suggest water shoes if you do not like squishy things on your feet!), or jump off the dock at the Lakehouse! The water is quite deep as soon as you leave the bay area. We provide pedal boats and canoe, with lifejackets on the outside of the Lakehouse boathouse. If you have your own life jacket, please bring it since this is a personal floatation device! Guest access All parts of property, excluding boathouses. There is a boathouse at each cottage, these are locked and not accessible. All water toys/lifejackets or outdoor features are made available on property. Other things to note If you are a nature lover this property is for you! We have only two cottages that share our portion of the lake and they are located across from us/ you are not sharing direct shoreline and should have plenty of privacy. Located just 15 mins from Buckhorn, there you can find groceries (Foodland), LCBO, Home Hardware and local restaurants (pub/pizza place). Next closet town, try Bobcageyon, groceries, many more restaurants here, Mexican, pub, wings, pizza, greek, etc and Kawartha Dairy!
