Modern, bright, convenient urban oasis

We are thrilled to welcome guests to our urban oasis, centrally located in one of Seattle’s most vibrant and diverse neighborhoods. We offer a peaceful neighborhood vibe and easy connection via bus, light rail or car to the sports stadiums, downtown and all the Seattle sights and sounds. We are also the perfect home base for exploring what the rest of the PNW has to offer and a nice, cozy spot for remote work. Our goal is to create a gracious, peaceful and creative environment for our guests. The space Where is it? The apartment is located in the daylight basement of our home and has a completely separate outside entrance. The space itself is about 475 sq ft with a large attached deck adjacent to the backyard garden. The entrance to the space is in the backyard of the house, accessed via 10 concrete steps and a woodchip covered path. Guests with balance or mobility issues may have difficulty with the path and/or stairs. What is is like? The space is brand new with bright, modern fixtures and reflects our colorful global style. There is a large deck overlooking the backyard garden, a fully equipped kitchen, large living area with a dedicated dining/workspace, separate bedroom and large spa-like bathroom. Where do I/we sleep? There is a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, wall mounted TV and closet off of the main living area. 100% cotton linens. The living room sofa also doubles as XXL twin size bed (find linens folded in the black foot stool). We welcome kids and have a pack-n-play and basket of toys, just let us know and we'll leave them for you for you. What else can I expect? Find wall mounted smart TVs in both the living and bedroom and excellent WIFI. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of towels, a hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/soap and first aid supplies. The kitchen is well stocked with dish, glass and silverware, cooking pots/pans, utensils and essentials for four and coffee supplies to accommodate a variety of brewing styles and fresh coffee beans and teas. There is also a washer/dryer and ironing board and iron for your use. What about my pet/s? If you are traveling with a pet, this is not the place for you. We invite you to find another host who is pet-friendly and welcome you when you are traveling without them. Guest access Parking We reserve the left-hand parking spot in our driveway for guests. Free street parking is also available on Morgan (our cross street). Oasis Entry There is an electronic keypad on the door. We will send you your unique code before you arrive. We also have a physical key available upon request. Please enjoy the backyard garden, snip fresh herbs and enjoy what else is in season. Other things to note Public Transit There are two reloadable Orca transit cards on the fridge. You are welcome to use reload and use them during your stay. Put them back on the fridge before you leave. They are reloadable online, via the app or at any light rail station. Please note: Guests occasionally forget to return the cards, and we aren't able to replace them in time for the next guests. Registration Details STR-OPLI-23-000818
