Orchard House Countryside BnB

In the picturesque hamlet of Goveton, near Kingsbridge, Salcombe & many beaches, is Orchard House B&B. Our 2 private rooms suit 2–6 guests, with views over gardens, a tranquil stream, thatched cottages & rolling countryside. Orchard House is a private family home offering traditional bed and breakfast — guests have their own bedroom, share a bathroom, and enjoy breakfast in the dining room each morning. There is no guest lounge; bedrooms and gardens are where guests relax. The space We can accommodate up to 6 guests across 2 private rooms: • Double room — one double bed plus a double futon (sleeps up to 4) • Twin room — two single beds (sleeps 2) Please specify which room(s) you require at the time of enquiry. Note: we assume groups of 2 will share the double bed in the double room — please let us know if this isn’t the case. Guest access Guests have use of their private bedroom and private bathroom, plus the dining room at breakfast time. Please note that as Orchard House is Diana’s family home, there are no guest lounges or shared living areas — guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens and outdoor seating during their stay, and the wider South Hams countryside is right on the doorstep. During your stay I give my guests space but am available when needed. We are in on hand throughout your stay and like to provide our guests with everything they might need to make it the best it can be! Other things to note As is traditional in a B&B, meals are served in the dining room and we ask that guests don’t eat in the bedrooms — this includes takeaways. There are some lovely pubs and restaurants in Kingsbridge and the surrounding villages, and we’re always happy to recommend somewhere for an evening meal. Ollie runs the admin side of things whilst Diana (Ollie's mum!) will be your host in her home. Please be aware in case of allergies that we do have 2 very friendly cats. They are kept out of rooms prior to stay.
