Our log cabin home is located on 30 acres just north of Gallatin, TN. Perfect location to enjoy Nashville and all it has to offer! Stay in our downstairs guest suite which has a private entrance, living space, bedroom and full bath. The guest suite is in the lower level of our cabin and is a naturally cool environment, so it's great for sleeping (no thermostat). We are only about a 50 min drive from the heart of downtown Nashville and Old Hickory Lake is just 20 minutes away! The space There is a full bath with a shower, living area with a reclining love seat, desk, small sink, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot. Bedroom has a full-size bed. A ROKU TV is located in the bedroom. The bedroom has a heater in case you get cool, since there is no thermostat the space. In the summer, the vents are closed and covered. In the winter, the vents are open. Guest access While staying with us, you have your own private area downstairs with your own entrance. You are welcome to stroll around the front yard, stroll over to the barn, take a look at the cows and bison, take some pics of our year round creek and its waterfalls that are just steps from your front door. And we'll be happy to share our big front porch if you would like to rock some time away while looking at the scenery. There's also a gas grill available for your use and plenty of parking! If you're hungry, some really great local restaurants and bars are just 15 minutes away in Gallatin, as well as many of the popular national ones too. Other things to note Please remember, we live upstairs so you will hear us up there. We have recently adopted a miniature schnauzer. We are conveniently located close to the following wedding and event venues in our area: Rock Creek Farm ~ 1.5 miles Briar Rose Hill ~ 6 miles Wildflower Farms ~ 7 miles Sycamore Springs ~ 12 miles Gallatin Civic Center and Triple Creek Park are just 8.5 miles. No worries if you are pulling a trailer. We have plenty of room for you to park. If you are fishing a local tournament, your welcome to park your boat in our barn where you'll have lights and electric to service your boat and get it out of the weather each night. If you happen to be traveling with horses, we can put them up for the night too for an additional charge. Stalls, pasture, and hay are available for your horse's overnight stay. If you are coming in for the big CMA Fest in June, we're only about 45 - 50 minutes away from the event. Our place is a great place to stay if you would like an occasional break from all the hustle/bustle and crowds associated with downtown during the festival. We have security cameras located on the exterior of our property for our protection as well as yours, but there are NO cameras located inside your rental suite. Your entry door is secured by a smart lock and the lock code is updated to a new code after each and every guest checks out. Be sure you have a government issued ID uploaded to your AirBnB profile. This will be required in order for you to book a stay here at our cabin. Just a state issued drivers license will work just fine.
