Oak Hill Cabin
Oak Hill Cabin
Description
The cabin is nestled into the forest with a nother nearby cabin and a small bunkhouse. Enjoy a short walk over a babbling creek and up a dreamy woodland trail to where this cozy cabin awaits. There is a vintage wood stove with wood included for your entire stay. The cabins don't have running water but a sink is available on the back porch of the farmhouse and picnic tables in the back yard. The restorative sights and sounds of wildlife will be accompanying your retreat! The space Oak hill cabin was built by Jim Toler, the farm owner, using fallen oaks from the land. There is a full size bed along with a tea and coffee station in the bottom floor where the firewood stove is. A small ladder leads you to the top loft where two sleeping cots lay with pillows. We kindly ask to bring sleeping bags for these. This space invites people to relax and enjoy the sounds of birds and the babling creek during the day. At night one can enjoy the sounds of owls and coyotes. This is not a luxury stay, the cabin is located in a historic homestead that occupies Kalapuyan land. The cabin rental is the homestead´s primary source of income to stay afloat so we thank each and every one of our guests for their support. The main goal is to share this beautiful piece of the earth with other people and airbnb has allowed this . Thankyou. Guest access When booking Oak hill cabin , we hope our guests enjoy the entire farm. We invite them to walk around the orchards, to visit the treehouse when we dont have campers there and also check out the sheep. Everyone at the farm wants for our guests to feel welcome and take in the spaciousness of the beautiful place we are located at. Other things to note As a friendly reminder and to avoid unpleasant surprises, we recommend to read our reviews and descriptions because we still have shocked guests who didnt read that there is NO SHOWER. We dream of building one but this is a very low scale operation. This is the ideal stay of someone who enjoys nature and is easygoing enough to enjoy a simple rustic stay . An escape from modern busy life is what the farm and cabin stays do best.
