3-country view, peaceful oasis directly on the hiking trail

One of the oldest houses on the Pfänderhang with stunning views of Lake Constance. Our 3-country view room faces directly Lake Constance, the festival stage and the Swiss mountains. The space Our house is located at the foot of the Pfänder, in an idyllic, quiet place between the city and the mountain. We live wonderfully quietly below a fairytale forest. Our guests stay on the first floor with a separate entrance and their own small garden. The highlight is the local pine bed which can accommodate 2 people (120 mattress). It is oriented towards the lake. In the bathroom (which is located on the upper floor and is shared with us) there is a bathtub, a vanity and a shower with an extra large shower head. The toilet is located directly opposite the bedroom on the first floor and is not shared with us. The windows offer a view of the valley and the Swiss mountains (Säntis, Altmann, Hoher Kasten) that display the varied colors of autumn, the snow-covered tranquility of winter, the flowers of spring and the green surroundings of summer. After a short walk down, you will be at the "Kornmarktplatz" with the Kunsthaus by Peter Zumthor, the Landestheater and the Vorarlberg Museum. On Tuesdays and Fridays, the traditional farmers' market takes place here in the morning: Vorarlberg mountain cheese, fresh fruit from the surrounding area, fish from Lake Constance, are just a few of the many regional specialties that you will find here. There are numerous cafes, bars and restaurants on the square. From here you are in a few minutes, past the Bregenz harbor, along the waterfront, at the festival and congress house, which is world famous for its play on the lake. Walking to the harbor takes about 15 minutes. The festival and congress house is about a 25-minute walk. You can walk to Bregenz main and bus station from our house in 25 minutes. In 10 minutes you can reach the valley station of the "Pfänderbahn." At 1064 m, you can enjoy views of the Bregenz Forest, the Swiss mountains and the entire Lake Constance. Since our house is directly on the hiking trail to the Pfänder, we also recommend starting directly on foot. The hike takes about an hour. You can reach Bregenz harbor in 15 minutes and from here you can make a variety of excursions (to the island of Mainau, to Meersburg and much more). Every hour a boat goes to Lindau. We live with our dog in the house ourselves and look forward to seeing guests who want to relax, enjoy nature behind the house or enjoy conversations about God and the world. Our house is a "good vibes" place. You are welcome to smoke in the fresh air. Guest access We share the bathroom on the top floor. If you want to share our kitchen and living room, please contact us in advance. During your stay We open our house to guests. They should have a nice time with us. So that we also have a nice time as hosts, we find it nice to have at least a small exchange with the guests.
