Welcome to Hickory Creek Cottage! Our place is designed with couples in mind, to relax & reconnect. Come celebrate a birthday, anniversary, milestone or simply spend quality time together. Enjoy the peaceful setting this property has to offer, while still being close to town and major attractions. Sit back and relax in the hot tub that is open year-round! The outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace also add to the charm of our cottage. *All guests must be 18 yrs of age to book and/or stay* The space The main level consists of the kitchen, bathroom, living and dining space. The TV has multiple streaming apps that you can log into. There is also a DVD player. The kitchen is stocked with all of the cooking essentials you would need, including a variety of coffee and tea. The bathroom has ample towels, body wash, shampoo and conditioner as well. The upstairs loft area has the king size bed, and a place for you to hang and store your clothing and items. Outside you will find the hot tub under the covered patio, table and chairs, grill and fire pit. We hope you enjoy the amenities that we offer- whether it’s cooking a meal together in the kitchen, enjoying a movie and the indoor fireplace, or an evening in the hot tub with your drink of choice! *There is absolutely NO SMOKING of any kind inside of the cottage* Guest access Our guests have access to the front of the property including the cottage, designated parking space, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit and grilling area. Please note that we do live on the back portion of the property, approximately 200 feet from the cottage. We value your privacy and may rarely “run into” each other. A quick wave from the driveway is the only interaction you may see of us, but we are close by in case any questions or needs come up! Other things to note *2 guest maximum* *The person booking the Airbnb must be one of the two guests staying* Our location provides a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, where you can enjoy the nature around you. Many trees, wildlife and a creek that runs through the property are just a few of the surroundings you will enjoy. Though we are in a more rural setting, we are conveniently just a few minutes from the Milan square. A few minute drive gets you to several restaurants including the Milan Wine Post, Jim’s Pizza Box, the Invention Restaurant, Baker on the Square, Wonder Bar and Grill, Sandy Ridge Vineyards, Quarry Hill Winery and more. Lake Erie public beaches are a short drive away to enjoy a day at the beach! Cedar Point is approximately a 25 minute drive, as well as Summit Motor Sports is approx. 8 minute drive. There are many places to walk and bike nearby, such as the Rails to Trails. Edison Woods Metropark is about a 12 minute drive and great for hiking.
