Welcome to winter by the sea. "Solstrand" is an atmospheric and spacious house by Bunnefjorden-perfect for families and groups of friends who want peace, space and quality time only 25 minutes from Oslo city center. The house has a fireplace in the living room, firewood included and plenty of room to gather around the dining table (10 pcs). Here you can enjoy long winter evenings with good food, board games and fireplace, or start the day quietly with coffee and views of the lake. The property is large, child-friendly and fenced. Private jetty. The space Villa Solstrand was a summer house from 1931 that is now completely renovated and fully insulated. The old details are preserved while the new and modern are mixed in. This makes the house a cozy and warm place to be. Here it is magically quiet in winter, and you can really relax and enjoy your stay. The large windows in front of the house allow you to sit inside to look out at the lake even if it is stormy, while you can enjoy the warmth from the fireplace. There are 9 beds in 4 bedrooms, separate TV room on the 2nd floor. There is free wifi and great opportunities for both relaxation and home office. The house has a large, well-kept lawn in the summer and a large play area in the winter that is child-friendly with a trampoline, doll house and swing set. In front of the house is a large slate terrace with a fire pit where you can grill sausages on a stick after a day out for the little ones. Parking: There is a large driveway belonging to the house that can accommodate 4-5 cars. 10 minutes drive from the house is Hvervenbukta beach. Here you can rent bathhouses and try ice bathing. There is also the café "Anne på landet" which serves cold and hot drinks as well as light and good dishes. Svartskog kolonial is a local grocery store that serves afternoon tea, has concerts, various food evenings and a backyard market. Important: it is not open daily, so you have to check the websites for opening hours. 1st floor: Living room with lounge and dining table space for 10 people Fully functional kitchen. "The Blue Bedroom": A single bed and office space. "Children's room": Family bunk bed with room for 3 people "Parent's room": Double bed and baby bed Bathroom with shower/bathtub, sink and washing machine, toilet. Hallway with stairs up to the 2nd floor 2nd floor: Attic room with corner sofa and TV, reading corner and beautiful sea view. Large bedroom with double bed in addition to single bed that can be pulled out to double bed. Jetty: The tenant has his own private pier by the fjord. The pier is located 50 meters from the house and has a large space. From the pier there are stairs down into the sea for easy access both for young and old. On the pier, you look in towards the center of Oslo in addition to the lovely sunset over Nesodden. Guest access The entire house, except the basement and garage.
