Bed and breakfast in Talkeetna

We have 2 rooms (Rm 1 upstairs and Rm 4 downstairs), each with a private bath and view of Denali, a queen-size bed and a pull-out futon bed (qn size in Rm 1 and full size in Rm 4). Room 1 can accommodate up to 4 guests; available year-round. Room 4 can accommodate up to 3 guests; available only during summer. Continental breakfast is served 7-10 am during summer season, 5/1 -9/30. Guests are welcome to help themselves with breakfast items found in the kitchen during winter season, 10/1-4/30. Grace and Bill's Freedom Hills B&B is located about 5 miles (less than 10-minute drive) from beautiful downtown Talkeetna in a quiet wooded area up on a bluff, where on a clear day, you can see the top of North America - Mt. McKinley or Denali. Guest access Guests check in at the main B&B house. The front door remains unlock until the last guest arrives. We would appreciate a prior notification for late arrivals, if possible. This rental package is for Room #1 and/or Room #4. Both rooms are housed in the main B&B house. Rates are based on double occupancy. Each room can accommodate up to 3 (or 4, if additional guests per room are smaller in size). Room #1 is a larger bedroom upstairs with a private bathroom and a viewing deck. Great view of the Alaska range (Foraker, Hunter, and Denali) from here. The room is furnished with a queen-size bed, a full-size pull-out futon bed, a writing desk, and a closet. Room #4 is the only room downstairs, has a private bath, a queen bed, a full-size pull-out futon bed and a private door entry. It has a window overlooking the view of Denali and is adjacent to the large sun deck on ground floor. Great for late arrivals or guests wanting more privacy. Common areas include kitchen/dining/living room downstairs and outside deck. Other things to note Rates are based on double occupancy per room; we charge $20/rm-night per additional guest over 8 years old. Two additional guests are allowed in Room #1. Only one additional guest is allowed in Room #4. Summer rates (May 1 - September 30): $155/room-night if renting both rooms; $163/room-night if renting only one room. Continental breakfast is served from 7 am - 10 am. Winter rates (October 1 - April 30): $130/room-night; only Room #1 is available. Help yourself with breakfast items found in the kitchen. Discounted weekly and monthly rates also available during winter. All prices include the local bed tax of 5%. No sales tax. Four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended in winter, as we are located up on a hill. Free WiFi is available, but there is no TV.
