The Cabin at Stag Lodge

Relax and enjoy your time at this unique lodging in a beautiful location just a stone’s throw from the River Hamble. The cabin is situated at the top of our property. Access to the cabin is through the gates of Stag Lodge, past the main house and up to the cabin at the back of the property. The space The cabin has a full working kitchen including oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a lounge with a television and dining table and chairs. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The master bedroom has a double bed, hooks with coat hangers to hang any clothes and a chest of drawers. There are also drawers under the bed. The children’s bedroom has two bunk beds (designed to take children only), a hanging rack with baskets for storage. Also storage under the bed is available. Guest access Please note that we are currently having our driveway and landscaping done. The work is currently unfinished so please bear with us! Access to the cabin is not affected but any children will need to be supervised going up to the cabin. There is a temporary netting fence in place. There are also steps up to the cabin but we will be on hand to help you with any luggage on arrival 😌 (please see pictures on listing). We politely request that you do not have visitors during your stay at the cabin. Please note that your check in time is 3-9pm. Our phones go off at 9pm and you will not be able to access the property after 9pm. If there is a chance you may not arrive by 9pm we would suggest you make alternative arrangements. Other things to note We do have a dog and some chickens on site. Woodie is a young and playful beagle. He does roam free in the garden at times so please be aware of him when driving in and out. He is a gorgeous and friendly dog but does sometimes jump up when he’s excited so please be aware of that with children or if you are wearing nice clothes! Woodie also lived up at the cabin for 2 years with us when we built Stag Lodge so he may try and pay you a visit 😊 Please don’t let him in. We will give you a gate clicker for the duration of your stay. Woodie would only ever be out in the garden if we are in so if you want to go out of the gates and Woodie is out then just knock on our front door and we will bring him in so he doesn’t escape. The children love to share the eggs their chickens have laid so please just ask one of us if you would like any for your breakfast 🥚 Please note that although we are living in Stag lodge, the main driveway and some parts of the house are not yet completed so please bear in mind the garden and grounds are unfinished.
