Family home in great location

Welcome to our family home in Tooting, London. The house is on a quiet residential street with excellent transport links that can put you in central London within 30 minutes. Central Tooting - where you'll find lots of great restaurants, pubs and shops - is a short walk or bus ride away. Tooting was named one of the 10 coolest neighbourhoods in the world by Lonely Planet a few years ago, so it's great place to base yourself on a trip to London. The space The house is Victorian and has lots of great character. There's wood floors in most rooms and old fireplaces in the living room, and second bedroom. On the ground floor, there's a comfortable living room with a large TV with access to all the main streaming services. There's a dining room with a table that can comfortably accommodate 8 people when extended. There's also a kitchen stocked with everything you'll need if you want to cook - as well as a ground floor bathroom. The kitchen leads out onto a small deck with chairs and tables where you can eat or enjoy a drink if the weather is nice enough. Some steps lead down from the deck to a small garden. On the first floor, you'll find the main bedroom with a super king size bed, and the second bedroom with a king size bed. There's also a bathroom with a bath and shower. On the top floor, there's two more bedrooms and a bathroom, including a shower. Both bedrooms have single beds. The larger one also has a sofa bed which can be folded out into a small double. If you're bringing children, we've got lots of toys and games for them to borrow. And there's also an Xbox on the top floor. If you're a large group, we can also accommodate two extra people by setting up an extra single bed in one of the top floor rooms - and we do also have one additional single mattresses which could be set up in the main bedroom or in the top room. There's central heating which keeps the house nice and warm when it gets cold. In the summer, it's usually stays fairly cool inside - but if you're in London during a heatwave, there's also fans in the bedrooms to keep you more comfortable at night. Pets are welcome and if you bring your dog, they are welcome to use our crate, which lives in our dining room. Like most old houses, you'll find a few cracks in the plaster and floorboards - but it's full of character. This is not an investment property - and you might not find it spotless if you look behind the sofa or under the cupboards. We have it cleaned each week, and always do an extra clean before Airbnb guests arrive - but we have young children and a dog which leave their mark in ways we might not always spot! But we love living here - and we hope you'll enjoy your stay! Guest access Guests can use the whole house apart from one room where we store some things while we're away.
