Modbury tiny home with big character

A tiny home with big character, perched on a hill overlooking Modbury. Full of rustic charm and quirky touches, this cosy hideaway sits beside our home but has its own private entrance and two outdoor seating areas. Perfect for exploring the South Hams, Dartmoor and nearby beaches, it includes a comfortable sofa bed, Wi-Fi, TV, shower room and a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, air fryer and double hob. The space ModburyLittleHome is a self-contained annex beside my home, with its own private entrance and outdoor seating areas. Inside, you’ll find a cosy, open-plan space with a rustic, cabin-like feel, not unlike a little alpine lodge. Fully insulated, with two heat sources and an extractor fan, it stays cool in summer and warm and cosy during the colder months. The main entrance is through a side door, while French doors open onto a private seating area where you can enjoy afternoon and evening sunshine and views across the rolling South Hams countryside. There is also a second private seating area at the side of the property. A dedicated parking space is available outside. The accommodation is open plan, with a separate shower room and WC. The comfortable double sofa bed folds away during the day, creating a relaxing living space. There’s a small breakfast bar with stools, along with a well-equipped kitchenette featuring a fridge, microwave, double hob, air fryer, kettle, toaster and everything you’ll need for preparing simple meals. Plenty of storage space is provided for luggage. While ModburyLittleHome sits next to my house and you’ll see me coming and going, guests have complete privacy throughout their stay. It’s a peaceful little retreat where you can switch off and relax. The property sits on a quiet lane with fields opposite, while footpaths behind the house lead across the countryside and through the area once known as Modbury’s historic battlefields. Modbury itself has independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, and is perfectly placed for exploring the South Hams. Beautiful beaches, picturesque harbour towns, the South West Coast Path and Dartmoor are all within easy reach. Guest access You’ll have private access to all of ModburyLittleHome. Other things to note I have dogs. They won’t disturb you but it’s worth noting if you have an allergy. Dogs are also welcome.
