Village House in Tinos

This contemporary architectural house is ideal for an exotic and peaceful vacation. It is located in the village of Chatzirados, 15 minutes from Tinos Town and 20 to 30 minutes from many villages (Volax, Kardiani...) and south beaches sheltered from the wind (A. Fokas, A. Romanos, Ballos, etc.) On foot, you can go to the nearby village of Ktikados, with a tavern and a grocery store, or you can try longer walks on marked trails leading to the capital or the beach of Kionia. Keys The house has 3 separate locks and keys: - one for the main entrance + duplex bedroom (the tower) - one for bedroom 1 - one for bedroom 2 The key to the main entrance will be given to you, the other two keys to the bedrooms are in the house. II. The rooms of the house and their toilets Bedrooms 1 and 2 are autonomous like the cells found in the gardens of the villages, while 3 (in the tower) is directly connected to the living room. - Bedroom 1 is just at the entrance to the house and has a bathroom + toilet inside. - Bedroom 2 is at the back right with an outdoor bathroom with toilet that can also be used by the rest of the occupants. The washing machine is located in this bathroom. - Bedroom 3 occupies the tower at the corner of the house on two levels, at the bottom a single bed and an open shower, at the top a double bed. All linen, towels and sheets are at your disposal. III. The living room – kitchen – dining room / amenities All these functions occupy a continuous open space on the median plateau of the house. The living room has a sofa, indoor table and coffee table. The kitchen is open and its countertop continues as a table on the outdoor terrace. House amenities include: - Refrigerators: The house has two, one large and one small. - Stoves: There are 2 on the counter, easy to use. - The oven: It is small and easy to use. - Toaster: It is on the counter. You have to plug it into a socket and you can put 2 toasts side by side. - The Nespresso coffee machine. - The mini-mixer for making iced coffee - The kitchen has all the culinary equipment, pots, plates, glasses, etc. for 6 people. - The washing machine with a capacity of 7 kg - Speakers: the house has a sound system with two speakers and a cable with a jack that can be plugged into a mobile phone or computer. - A modem with Wi-Fi connection to the internet, access code see on the modem. IV. Electricity and water. The central panel is located in the living room opposite the kitchen. Labels are affixed to it to identify the different lighting switches. Each outdoor room has its own electrical panel. The water heater of the main house is located under the staircase of the mezzanine and its switch at the entrance of the duplex on the left. It heats the shower on the lower level, the sink in the indoor toilet and the kitchen. The water heater in bedroom 1 (bathtub) is switched on from the bedroom panel. An automatic water heater equips the small outdoor bathroom for hot water from the shower and sink. An outdoor shower with natural water takes place in an old press. In the absence of this specification on the rental platform, the pool is a natural water pool, with a depth of about 1.0 m for leisure and refreshment. The water is recycled without chemical or other treatment; for its renewal it must be emptied a little and replenished with water by the source located at the top of the wall, controlled by a tap located in the wall of the outdoor terrace of the living room. V. The outdoors There are several outdoor spaces, central courtyard, small backyard where laundry is dried, patio, small terrace. As the house is designed to maximize the feeling of space, there are no guardrails or protections in all outdoor spaces. Particular attention should be paid to this specificity, in particular at the pool, the terrace of bedroom 2 and the mezzanine. Guest access The house is located at the end of the village Chatzirados above Chora, the capital and port, Tinos. To get to the village as well as to travel around the island, you must have rented a car. By car from the port of Tinos, head towards Tripotamos, then turn left towards Kabos-Kardiani, and at about 1 km, there is a sign indicating Ktikados-Chatzirados on the left. Once you arrive at the Chatzirados parking lot, following the central street for 2-3 minutes, you will cross the village square to finally arrive at the house. Other things to note There is a supermarket on the way out of Chora, Sklavenitis, where you can find just about everything. Also, not far from the village there is an organic farm where you can shop more or less daily and at the source.
